SATA Tells DEC To SUMMON His SON MULENGA, GREGORY CHIFIRE On K1.8 Billion Vehicle ALLEGATIONS

STATE HOUSE has advised Committee of Citizens executive director Mr Gregory Chifire to put down a formal complaint with the law enforcement agencies over the 15 million South African Rand transaction, which he is linking to a spouse of an unidentified senior military officer.
This follows Mr Chifire’s challenge that the Zambian Government comes out clean on the 15 million South African Rand, which he alleges was deposited into an FNB Bank account in Johannesburg on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 by a wife of one of the senior military officers he unfortunately has not named.
According to a press statement released by state house press aide George Cheela, State House has implored law enforcement agencies like the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) to invite Mr. Chifire and engage him on these very serious concerns he has raised.
Furthermore, State House has encouraged Mr Chifire to report any suspected unlawful activity linked to the first family to the relevant law enforcement agencies
This is after Mr Chifire alleged that His Excellency Mr Michael Chilufya Sata’s son Mulenga, has purchased two luxurious automobiles among them, a brand new Jeep, both valued at K1.8 billion within a period of 60 days.
Since ascending to office, the President has frequently affirmed that his administration is determined to fight corruption and that there will be no sacred cows.
Therefore, it is only appropriate and responsible for Mr Chifire as a citizen to promptly inform the law enforcement agencies and provide irrefutable evidence of wrong-doing wherever such illegal conduct is identified or suspected.
State House wishes to underline
President Sata’s standpoint: “No one will be shielded from prosecution once it has been evidently established that a crime has been committed in spite of their status in society. Zambians must be equal before the law.”
For that reason, the President has appealed to the law enforcement agencies in particular, the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) to summon both Mr Chifire and his son Mulenga to assist with investigations.

ba sata this is sense. mwalapwisha ubufi pa zed. ama zambians are used to telling lies about others to bring them down and they know that in the past they could get away with it. that is why we could see your integrity before you became president but other people who are envious of your achievements and character can only see bad where there is excellence. seriously, zedians, remember always that attacking people,s integrity where there is no proof ilaletelela.
should mulenga sue this chifire and he is successful, let the matter be tried quickly and transparently so that other kachepas may learn a lesson.
    viva common sense

It’s fine the President has given a go ahead. Lets wait and see. I know Gregor Cifire very well. He is a failure in life who has nothing credily to offer. He was at CBU and failed both to finish his sudies and win as COBUSU President. He always wanted to black mail his way through but he could not manage to manipulate the Senate. Find out from CBU, he has am sure some records there. Its sad he has not changed and I dont think he’ll. For God’s sake lets pray for him, he does not have anything to crave for. Viva Sata viva. Viva your excellence.

Am a technician in mechanical engineering working here in zambia and running a business and I can make that much in 24 months. k1.8 billion is not something so big an amount if genuinly obtained. Thieves like liato burry the money because they guilty. Let’s wait for the findings of investigative wing

Gregory Chifre is a disgruntled man. eveybody knows that he is pro MMD so what do you expect from a man whose party lost elections. Leave Mulenga alone. Cifire obvoiusly did not get his cut form MMD after they lost hence his frustration. The President has ordered DEC to sum them so lets wait and see.Cifire will be ashamed.

HE Sata has done what RB and other Presidents can never do. Subjecting his own son to DEC and Police is commendable. Chifire must be very careful, just like some blogs which judge others in newspapers without those accused having an opportunity to respond or defend themselves. MULENGA Sata is a gentleman.
    I hope Chifire has evidence.

HE Sata must also tell and reveal to the nation what has happened to the report he asked about from Cabinet, and investigating wings about DR MITI whose appointment was revoked within 24 hours of being appointed as Ambassador to WHO, Geneva. A Public feedback to Zambians is crucial just like his own Son, MULENGA. We have a reliable, fearless President in HE Sata. Let Miti and MULENGA be cleared from the investigating wings of GRZ!!! Publicly!!!

Yes, I agree. Let the Reports SATA is asking not gather Dust as if it is meant just to please the public that something is being done. It’s almost close to three weeks when SATA asked for a report from investigating wings about DR MITI? What has happened to that report. Has he been cleared or not. If he has been cleared, let Sata be bored enough to re appoint DR Miti as Amabassador to Swaziland and not just playing to the gallery!”, MULENGA Sata s report must also be made public, to clear the air. Cheers!! And Bravo Sata!”

The Report from the investigating wings about Dr Miti is taking too long. Miti has been on forced leave for almost three years as a state witness at court helping GRZ to prosecute Kapoko. I don’t understand how then he is corrupt? He has NEVER been charged or arrested or even convicted of any offense or corruption. let the report come out to see if he is cleared or not. If he is cleared, then justice must prevail and Dr Miti must be reappointed as Ambassador to Swaziland.
MULENGA Sata must also be cleared and if Not found wanting, Chifire must explain and be charged accordingly for spreading malicious falsehoods about the Presidents Son. Let justice prevail!!”

WE ALL KNOW WHO AND WHAT CHIFIRE STANDS FOR IN LIFE. HE HAS BEEN IN HIDING SINCE THE NEW GOV TOOK OVER AS IF ANYONE WAS INTERESTED IS PURSUING HIM. FOR YOUR OWN INFO HOW MUCH IS A MARCOPORO BUS AND TALK OF A PERSON HAVING A FLEET OF 10 TO 20. ONE MARCOPORO COSTS ABOUT k1.0 BILLION. SO DONT BE A FOOL CHIFIRE TRYING TO IMPLICATE INNOCENT CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY. JUST BECAUSE YO KA NGO IS RUNNING OUT OF CASH AND NO ONE SEEMS TO BE WILLING TO SPONSOR YOU JUST SHUT UP . DONT THINK YOU ARE SO INTELLIGENT. THE TIME YOU SPEND WITCHHANTING IF PUT TO GOOD USE YOU COULD HAVE DEVELOPED BY NOW .

To start with, Chifire is anti-Sata. This time around Chifire is deep waters because he doesn’t have tangible evidence which he is going to provide to DEC. Hatred is not good because it creates problems to those who practice it. For sure Chifire is in deep trouble because Mulenga is not like Rupiah’s Children who were involved in siphoning money indirectly from the government.By the way Sata’s family is richer than Rupiah’s family. So let Chifire not mislead the nation.

All those insinuating that Mulenga Sata obtained money in a dubious manner may end up very disappointed. A little bird tells me that Mulenga sold his Kabulonga house recently. Houses in Kabulonga don’t sell for less than 1 billion kwacha. This could very well be the source of the 1.8 billion kwacha. According to my source, Mulenga, a civil engineer, is not only an employee of Zulu Burrows Engineering firm, but is also one of the shareholders of the firm. Mulenga is apparently not a poor guy who depends on his father for upkeep, but a man of considerable means. If my source is correct, Chifire may end up in very hot soup this time.
