MUGABE Says ‘Ghadafi PLEASED The WEST Who Later Killed Him At The End’ As SATA’s PF Endorse MUGABE For ZIM PRESIDENCY
Bulawayo : ZIMBABWEAN President Robert Mugabe has described the later Libyan leader Maummar Gaddafi as ignorant and failed to invest in Africa but splashed his money in Europe to please the West who killed him at the end, yet at the same time giving him only 4 Camels.
Mugabe told the Zanu PF 12th annual conference that the slain Libyan dictator only managed to donate four camels which he is keeping at his farm.
In his address before his party, the ageing leader spent over an hour talking about the NATO attacks in Libya and the Arab springs and strongly sounded fears that similar events could unfold in Zimbabwe soon.
Mugabe has been blamed for serious human rights abuses but he said the West used the accusations to attack governments.
He said since European countries and the United States were facing economic woes, there was a danger that they may end up attacking even Zimbabwe to get the diamonds. Zimbabwe has vast diamond fields in Marange which are said to be dirty because soldiers have been abusing civilians in the Chiadzwa area.
“Gaddafi tried to please them by taking his money to their banks. He even sent his children to Oxford University and accepted responsibility for the Lockerbie bombings. Gaddafi and the West were friends and we wondered what was happening but to our surprise he was killed in broad day light,” said Mugabe.
“Some of the things that Gaddafi was doing showed that the man was ignorant,” he said.
And the ruling Patriotic front (PF) have endorsed the candidature of incumbent Zimbabwe president Robert Mugabe for next years elections.
PF secretary general, Wynter Kabimba was speaking in Bulawayo Thursday 12/8 at the Zanu-PF 12th Annual National People’s Conference where he and other representatives of political parties endorsed the candidature of Robert Mugabe.
“We believe Zimbabweans cannot hold peaceful polls with the albatross of sanctions on their neck. We call on those that have imposed the sanctions to remove them unconditionally. No country in the world has the right to determine the course of history for another country,” Kabmba told delegates. He continued: “Apart from thefact that our party derived its name from Zanu-PF, we have similar policies and a history of fighting colonisation during the era of the Federation.”

Iwe Kabimba and your friends don’t mess us (Zambians) up by attending foolish gatherings around the world when there are far more important things to be attended to back home. How in God’s name would you endorse Mugabe when he’s been reigning since time immemorial? What message are you sending to us Zambians? In your own wisdom, do u think Kabimba can attend a dictator’s banquet without endorsing that dictator? Secretly PF refused to endorse Bob the day Sata refused to attend the conference. Even if Kabimba endorses Mugabe, can Kabimba vote for Mugabe? Ask Alabee about endorsements. It’s just diplomacy with a guy share the Kariba Dam and Vic Falls.

Why not leave Zimbabweans to freely choose which president they want. What is this about Zambia going in to support a party in a different country before elections. Sata did not even accept any opinion poll from another country apart from university of Bradford in Canada which does not exist.

Where is it stated from the quotation that PF has endorsed the candidature of Mugabe and his Zanu-PF? Tumfweko, bring a right quotation, this one does not say so. Logic please, there no syllogism to give this conclusion.

If we PF were serious about Mugabe We would have sent Foregn affairs minister or Govt Spokesperson to the conference. We sent Kabimba because he is a junior member whom the world wont take seriously. Tsvangirai is actually our friend.

This wl affect the international relations between Zambia and Zimbabwe should a different President emerge victorous.Sata is not free to visite Malawi of similar incidences of taking sides.PF should not betray Zambians after apologising to Angola and after demanding for an apology from Malawi.I hope the author has not exaggerated because I have not seen how the endorsement was done.Can Tumfweko quote all what Kabimba said?We want to know the truth.

Gees some Bloggers can be dull…its simple politics ALL PF has done is endorse the candidature of Bob at the ZANU-PF Convention! Ultimately it is up to the Zimbabwean people to vote him out! Mind you Zambia has no qualms with Bob per say..he chased the white farms we took some of them in go to Mkushi! For now Bob is in power so we support him “pa kamwa” Zimbabwe is a good neighbour & we can’t just antagonise Bob playing to the Western powers tune condemning Bob…they are oceans away & don’t be cheated that they give a sh*t about Zambia…look at what the so call GOOD West has done “Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan etc” and you say Bob is the Devil???????

Mugabe is an Economics Nobel Prize nominee, the committee wants to reward him for immense contribution towards turning the once proud food basket of southern Africa into a starving nation. @Pimpslim, PF was supposed be called MMD-PF, but the registra refused. So the boat owners called simply PF. It is not derived ZANU PF.
