MULONGOTI Says “Zambia’s Development Should Be Aided By All Zambians”
FORMER works and supply minister Mike Mulongoti says that Zambia’s development should be aided by all Zambians.
Mr. Mulongoti says that development can not only be achieved by the government alone but by all the Zambians.
He says that though the government does play an important role, it is important that all the citizens participate in the development process.
He states that says that finding economic opportunities will translate into the country achieving an improvement in the economy.
Mr. Mulongoti added that Zambia has a lot of economic opportunities that can be used for investment by many sectors of the economy.
Mr. Mulongoti was speaking to Q FM news in an interview.

Well said ba Mulongoti, but hw does a common Zambian help in the development of our land when all sectors have bn flooded with expertriates. Govt shud look into the plight of an ordinary zedian & provide means of fostering development. The otha thing is Lsk is not the only city in Zambia. Probably, the only way is to make zed a federal state such that each province benefits from its yieding.
HEMCS, look into the plight of an ordinary Zambian & see how far mother Zambia goes.

please i support what mulongoti has said,Indeed its us the zambians to develop our own mother zambia.Additionally may i appeal to our president to intervene in the pharmacetical business,there are so many strings that are propagated in the pharmacetical act to an extent that its only the asian(mwenye)guys who are advantaged hence they own most chemists in lusaka.To a common zambian running a small chemist,they have haddened the the procedures of acquiring licences.That apart pharmarsist feel their the only ones who can manage drugs,what of the other medical personnel like doctors and clinical officers.please can we revist this act,its diadvantaging our zambians hence having poor health quality.besides doctors are more educated than pharmacists,these guys only talk of storage,expiry date which are labbelled on each and every drug and customers are able to see.

Well said Mulongoti – that should include Zambians living abroad who have access to financial resources, which they could bring into the country for investment. The way forward bo Mulongoti is to persuade your newly-found friend sata to endorse dual nationality. It is a crying shame that in the 21st century zambia does not allow dual nationality! The cheap excuses of security reasons are bull s…t – the two countries at the highest risk of terrorism (i.e. USA & UK) both allow dual nationality. I don’t forsee anyone wanting to blow up findeco house of Society house in the forseeable future!!!!
