MULONGOTI Says “Nevers, Mutati & Others NOT Credible To Be PRESIDENT”

FORMER MMD Chairman for elections Mike Mulongoti has charged that none of the five MMD presidential hopefuls are credible enough to lead the former ruling party.
Among those that have expressed interest in the party presidency include Kabinga Pande, Dr. Nevers Mumba, Felix Mutati, Moses Muteteka and Situmbeko Musokotwane.
Giving his views for the future of the party he once belonged to, Mulongoti noted that the best the MMD can do is elect leaders with clean records if the party is to remain strong ahead of the 2016 general elections.
“none of the five members vying for the top position in the MMD is credible enough to lead the opposition party,” said Mulongoti.
He has since charged that people vying for the position of MMD president to be investigated and cleared by the law.
He said currently, there is no opposition political party that can challenge the ruling Patriotic Front.
He says the MMD will never come back strong because most of the leaders characters are questionable and dented.
Mr. Mulongoti said the MMD does not only need to have a new party president to survive, but a complete overhaul of the party leadership.

Totally agree. Some if not all aspirants vying for mmd presidency have dirty hands. This means mmd has not done their homework. They need to clean their back yard thoroughly before proceeding with electing a new party president. For their own information should the zambian youth feel the PF fail its NAREP. For now & years to come its VIVA MCS VIVA PF!!

Peeople like Mike Mulongoti are sour grapes always trying to make news for wrong reasons. Just ask the PF to give you a job so far it seems the havent, pray the do so soonest. By the way what are you currently doing other than politics.

For all his dirty pas, Mulongoti is right! he is a shrewd politician and I would not be surprised if Mulongoti took over from Sata in 2016 and won with wide margins.

You see MMD needs a ‘messiah’ or an ‘Obama-like’ person to dig them out of the 12-foot grave they are currently in! Alternatively, a credible female president could turn their fortunes for the better. At this stage, they are still in shock of their loss, in denial so their heads are not thinking straight. This is the same trend we saw in UNIP until it died off. besides, which normal zambian will ever put an ‘x’ against the letters ‘MMD’ in the near future – very few I suspect!!!!!

Nevers Mumba is a money laundering machine.

He abuses tax payers money and fires anyone who gets in his way. He and Mr Nzoya (the deputy at the high commission here in Ottawa) have been stealing money to buy luxury cars for them selves in Ottawa;they travel around the globe for personal reasons then finance them through the mission.

They fired Mr Tembo because he was against this and sent him back to Zambia. they also have an office slut ( carolina rodriguez ) working for them and she abuses the Zambian mission’s money by offering her physical body to diplomats.

this is such a shame; abusing hard earned tax payers money

Mr. Mulongoti, you are not a member of our party so your advice is not welcome. Concentrate on advising Mr. Sata on his governance deficiencies.

    1.Retiees are not paid
2.Inputs for 2011/2012 season not delivered in full
3.Farmers and transporters not paid by FRA
    4.Tribal appointments
    5.Encouraging street vending

The list is endless. Let him and his vice review the performance of his government. He keeps fighting a citizen in the name of Musokotwane at every opportunity he gets. Mr President get real ala you are ruling so stop campaigning

in as much as you are fighting for mmd’s presidency, players should bair in mind that unip exists in the name of a political party and that you will neva have leadership in public office.

Its true u are a the Emerging Bootlicker, When did those retires leave employment? Have you forgotten that the rotten MMD gave pensioners money to a contractor? Vendors were on the street before elections and your corrupt party did not chase, or did they? As for Ministers he is at liberty to choose who he feels are right men and women among the MPs without using tribe as a qualification and if it hurts you so much then submit to the 20 member committee that tribe should not be a tool for communication but it be used as a qualification. As for inputs 90% are delivered compared to your corupt party which used to deliver inputs such as D Compound in February and March.Crazy you………..

Mike is full of bitterness and can not be trusted. he is a wicked Lamba failure with such horrible past and should stop misleading us. PF too will be history by 2016 because they came in through the back door of deception and that is why they are reeling in failure not knowing how to rule.

MMD WILL NEVER COME BACK TO POWER JUST LIKE UPND WILL NEVER WIN ITS WAY IN GVT UNDER ITS CURRENT NAME AND LEADERSHIP.WHILE MMD REQUIRERS REBRANDING INCLUDING ITS NAME DUE TO CORRUPTION AND LOOTING OF PUBLIC RESOURCES,UPND NEEDS SAME TREATMENT DUE TO ITS TRIBALISTIC NATURE.

Only a fool can listen to Mulongoti.
It was just yesterday he was insulting Sata, but now he is a hero.
Mulongoti behave your age. You are too childish.
No one can trust you because we don’t know when the wrong became right.
    Can you tell us?

  33. Mwine Munshi

    December 23, 2011 at 7:43 am

Mike Mulongoti doesn’t need a job from the PF government. HEMCS acknowledged his contribution and offered him a job but he turned it down.

His support for HEMCS had one objective which was to make RB join him on the street. Having done that he has now content with himself. Who knows Nevers better than Mike who went to press to protect him after he messed up as acting president. The only thing he didn’t do was read the press statement typed by Nevers. This is the same Nevers that told people that Mwanawasa appointed him vice president because he was a sick man and would die soon to pave way for him to become republican president.

Like the late president Mwanawasa like to say, “he would rather be right now than be consistent”.

What he forgot to mention about the MMD presidential candidates is that they are cowards.
