President Michael Sata says he is disappointed with the failure by inspector general of police to take action on people who are inciting to create a state within a state in Western Province.
President Sata says some people in western province have appointed a prime minister and are looking for offices to start running a country yet the police are not doing anything about it.
Mr. Sata says he does not want to involve the Zambia Army because the police are capable of resolving the problem.
He has however, called on defense forces to assist each other in preventing an eminent crime.
The president was speaking on Friday morning at the commissioning parade for one hundred and sixty-four cadet officers at Kohima Barracks in Kabwe.
And the president has revealed that the recalled Zambian diplomat to Canada, Nevers Mumba is inciting pastors on the Copperbelt to revolt against the ongoing constitution making process.
Mr. Sata says Dr. Mumba is telling lies that the new constitution intends to remove the declaration of Zambia as a Christian nation and legalize homosexuality.

when we votd 4 pf govt we knew that sum of its promises were just a lip service and barotseland issue wasn’t an xception, all we wanted was jus change so we could chase corrupt mmd. now u pipo in w/province fighting for barotseland implimentation are just waisting time coz that will not hapen as long as zambia remains a christian country. that foolish prime minister we’ve heard must be charged and all those stuped activists must as well be put behind bars. we dont want to start seeing blood shed coz we already have enough blood that was shed on the cross of calvary for sins including barotseland agreement which kaunda and his coleagues lied to zambias. no barotseland, no other state, no other statehouse and no other president apart from sata for now.

@kaluluta, the wrong perception you have with the lozi and even the tongas is that they are selfish which is not the case. The point you are missing is that the lozi were promised to be rewarded with the barotse land if the were to support the pf during the just ended elections. Call me shallow minded but the fact still remains that the promise should be fulfilled before the waste gets to west.

ln my opinion , l would suggest that another province be created from western province for the following reasons:
1.Lozis are one of the tribes in the western province and occupy only a fraction of the western province.
2.Nkoyas and other tibes in the western province occupy the other fraction of the province
Therefore it only fair that the Nkoyas and other tribes of the western province are not forced into the Lozi agenda because they are zambians who should enjoy the full benefit of being Truely Zambian, hence the need for the 11th province.

what is good to the Lozis is that every country that fought for independence got it and every country taht did not fight for independence did not get it. even in Russia some small provinces there foght for independence and God the Almighty and not Satan helped them. Zambia can send thousands of soldiers to Barotseland but God will help the people to prevail. what happened in Libya, Mbenghazi was heavily protected and the deaths were on the other side. the UN will protect the Barotseland.

This will be a lesson to all politicians who will come on board that they should first think of the outcomes of every promise that they are to say to pipo. PF promised the restoration of the barotseland agreement of 1964 and this is what the Lozis are waiting for.
The Lozi kingdom comprises of all the tribes found in Western Province just as there are different ethinic groups in Northen,Copperbelt, Muchinga and central Provinces, but all are refered to as “Bembers”, therefore, Sata and PF fulfill your promise.

In his exclusive presidential suit, the man looks on steadfastly with his hands folded together at his back, as his body guard stands behind like a prison warder and a prisoner. His face looks puzzled as journalists zoom their digital cameras to capture his image. As if in harmony, he seemingly realising that something has gone wrong somewhere. He then asks himself a question; “should i relinquish the presidency and continue reaping the good harvest of this decision? The seat is getting hot. Someone should offer and give advise. But the question is “nguni utimwaange mulangu kaaze?”

@drogba.if that was the only reason for voting pf then you are a fool.in these modern politics, poliliticians must be held acountable for any promise they make.we’re waiting for more jobs, less tax and more money in our pockets.

The best thing for this country is a unified Republic of Zambia with only one government that has its full jurisdiction and control of all of it’s provinces without regard to any of the colonial agreements such as the Barotseland one, which was a mere paper exercise to calm the people of western province who were clearly too stubborn to be lured into an independent Zambia of which Kaunda, who was not a Lozi was to be the President. 47 years after the signing of this Agreement, a successful and peaceful period of Zambian independence, unity and sovereignity, people now want to make the Barotseland question bigger than it was during Kaunda’s, Chiluba’s and Mwanawasa’s governments, FORGET IT!! Instead of signing useless agreements such as this the British should have been fighting for the pedicle area which Belgium scrapped away from us deep into the copperbelt territory. But all of these things are now histroy and should treated as such.

Beyond 90 days of enduring pain and suffering. Zambians are becoming poorer and poorer. The Political Failure (PF) has failed and the 5 years won’t make any difference to my siblings in the village, the orphans, the sick, the disabled, prisoners, the abused children, women and men and indeed the hard-working teachers, doctors, nurses etc. Yes……childish paper…without brains
