MMD presidential Candidate Dr. Nevers Mumba has declined to comment on the allegations by the Zambian government that he used the government’s name to raise money for a Zambian association in Canada while serving as High Commissioner.
Dr. Mumba has has told QFM News that he is not aware of the allegations made by the foreign affairs minister Chishimba Kambwili.
But when briefed that Thursday Mr. Kambwili challenged him to explain why he had used the government letter heads to raise money from the cooperating partners the time he was an envoy in Canada, Dr. Mumba said the allegations were not worth his response.
Dr Mumba has also refused to comment on the allegations by President Michael Sata that he is inciting Pastors on the copperbelt by telling lies that the PF Government wants to include homosexuality in the new constitution.
However, Dr. Mumba stated that he will however, issue a comprehensive statement on the many other allegations that have been leveled against him soon. Dr. Mumba was speaking to QFM news in a telephone interview.

Dr Mumba is guilty of his deals thats why, he is all over radio stations making false statements like a stray dog.He should remain quiet until he is proved innocent by the courts of law.

“If the lord does not build the house, in vain do the builders labour..”
I hope those pastors have discerned well before taking any step. Our Zambian people have suffered enough, and we do not want to take them for granted.Zambians are not foolish to be taken for granted by every opportunist. It’s time to put this nonsense to an end.Heal your blindness before you attempt to heal the blindness of others.SOME PEOPLE PASS THROUGH SCHOOL BUT SCHOOL DOES NOT PASS THROUGH THEM.Let’s see how those pastors will discern the right way to follow.

It looks like the focus is now on Mumba. If he is sure that he is not arware of the allegations, then most likely some people are afraid of him breaking through if he assumes party presidency. So the best they can do now is to crack him down before he goes anywhere. But remember that the more you talk about someone, the more popular he becomes.

My Advise to Nevers Mumba is that, getting into power is a process. Firstly, when you make your intentions known, they will ignore you. Next, they will laugh at you. Finally, they will fight you. Then you win the fight and lead the Country. When Nevers left the pulpit, the Ignored him. When Mwanawasa fired him from the position of Vice President, they laughed at him. Now they are fighting him. Its a sign that he’s about to win. Thats exactly how Sata came into power. The MMD did not waste time on Miyanda, Tilyenji, Magande, Siulapwa,Cosmo Mumba, Nawakwi etc. They fought Sata inside out accusing him of being a hard core Criminal, a dictator, homosexual, a liar, that he was terminally ill, even that he had died. They even concocted a Documentary (Chanda Chimba) specifically to demonise Sata. But eventually Sata won the fight. Nevers, dont worry, just appreciate the fight against you.

Amazing political strategy, Nevers should not respond to any accusation thrown on him. Clean politic is what we need right now. A person is innoncent until proven guilt

Never Mumba can never be MMD President.MMD has a way of picking Leaders. They go for those who are not a threat to themselves, the likes of pande,Musokotwane. Those who can easily be cheated and cornered.
So I would advise Mumba not to challenge Sata because he would need a job from him sooner than he might think. The church cannot need him anymore,he is lookworm.

Mr Foreign Minister, with due respect, concentrate on getting knowledge from foreign and overseas Countries than worring about the Letter Head. I think you must priotise your daly schedule and serve the nation.
Mr President Sata, please ignore that, Dr Mumba is fighting for the betterment of all Zambians including you. Please ask for a Job Description from President Jacob Zuma or any President in the third world developing/developed nations. Concentrate of individual city developement, am told your 90 days is up, perhaps did you mean 900 hundred days???

Ba Dr. Charles Sinkala, have wisdom… 90 days shuwa?! Give him time. Did your Uncle lose the Job under MMD? The taste of the Budget hasn’t even been tasted yet for 2012.
This very lack of wisdom has costed Mumba his rightful place in society – atleast those who are not swayed by big TALK!
The man simply accepted a demotion that he himself declined a proper position in society years back. In case this was hearsay to you; I heard him with my own ears! He said and I paraphrase: “to politics would be a demotion to me” … and I felt proud!
Today…. Ni lundapo!
Remember the height you have fallen and repent, Mumba. He is faithful and just to forgive you.
