HH Shocked With SATA’s Sudden Change On BAROTSELAND ”Failure by Sata To Honour BA64 Will Increase TENSION In W/Province”

OPPOSITION United Party for National Development (UPND) president Hakainde Hichilema says he is puzzled by President Michael Sata’s sadden change of thought on the Barotseland agreement which he promised to honour during campaigns.
Mr Hichilema has further accused President Michael Sata of dragging in dealing with issue of the Barotseland agreement of 1964.
He says the failure by the President to act quickly on the Barotseland agreement will increase tension in the western province.
Mr Hichilema tells QFM that the PF won the 20th September elections because of the promises it made to the people of western province on the Barotseland agreement.
He says President Sata should therefore fulfill the promise he made to the people of western province on the challenges they are facing.
Mr Hichilema adds that it is President Sata who is inciting the people of western province on the Barotseland agreement and not the other way round.
He further states that the issue of the Barotseland agreement should not be politicized, but requires urgent attention to address.

@Kay my love I am sure you have heard what the men/women of wisdom have said. To a lot of people Timfweko is just a form of entertainment and don’t take it personal. Its unfortunate Tumfweko does not revel the real names, otherwise you would be surprised at how educated this lot is. On the other side I would not want people to know my ID here because I would feel uncomfortable ukukutuka. I still love you tho.

I just don’t get it, what form of popularity does Mr HH get from all this Barotse issue? As for crediting The President’s win during the elections to WP, that is argueable as not all people in the province were voting on those grounds otherwise it should have been a land slid for the President. Let’s say the few that did vote voted on those grounds, does it warrant the president to divide the country, as what?… a show of gratitude? Oh! I know, it is meant to show that the President has failed to handle a situation he said he would…wow HH what type of politics are you playing, such advocacy is something that could make you loose even the list of popularity. Start thinking of other things because the President is handdling this situation. For instance how to become popular in the rest of the country and not just one and part of WP.

We are all Zambians and our country should not be divided into two.No tribe can vote for itself and produce its on president.HH if your intention is to find any fought in SATA we are not ready for that.Mazoka never advocated for barotseland, its you who wants to create tension in Zambia.Do you know the demarcations of barotseland. If know wait for the next elections in 2016.ONE ZAMBIA ONE NATION

    January 1, 2012 at 6:01 am

This is 2012 my brothers and sisters. Let’s not dwell on tribalism, more especially mentioning tribes in our discussions. Some of us have every tribe in our clan. In short we are all one people. One thing is obvious about us Zambians, we can not vote into power a tribalist. We are smart.

  15. NEUTRAL ZAMBIAN

    January 1, 2012 at 6:08 am

Peaceful Zambians lets not debate on tribal lines on issues of our Country but issues of love. HH’s utterances are not good and Sata when he came into power he forgave all the Barotseland activists and put the inquiry in place which is good step in the right direction. Sata in his campaigns use to say and l quote ‘ when l come into power l will look into the Barotse issue’ end of quote. Can someone tell me did he say Western p will be an independent state? NO! Not at all. really the issue is on devlpmt. HH be like MAZOKA he was a man of all Zambians but you ????????

HH you are spot on and you are posed to be the next republican president. This sata pabwato is the biggest and oldest liar together with his henchmen and women. Zambia is stuck since mcs became president and these people are busy pretending that all is well. Zambia needs a younger mind for president. This is 2012 and mark my words , you shall see the misery this sata and his team of kaponyas and kabovas will bring on this nation, such that even his adernt supporters who have little care for Zambia will regret.Viva HH, you now have Southern, Western, Central province, Ndola rural and North Western province to make you the next president. I pray that MCS will make even more visible mistakes so that even luapula and northen will begin to think twice.

Thank you my brother @wawa but I beg for mercy on behalf of @Kay my love. I am sure he/ she has got the message and lesson that Tumfweko is a wrong place for boasting carelessly. Lets forgive this human being, and get on.Happy new year 2012 all my fellow brothers and sisters of Tumfweko. @Fair Play continue fighting against tribalism my bro. we are all one regardless of tribe, if one chap messes up let us not attack the entire tribe where he / she comes from. Let us educate that chap as an individual.

@atm, ngoshe kulupako, u guys are fantastic,! Happy new year! Now i shudder n fear to understand how n why this sweet Kay love would want we zeds to divide ourselves, am not lozi nor am i Tonga, bt i surely hated n got upset at how the lozis were battered by rb n George kunda n their arrogance in managing this country! I hate hh to the bone for supporting RB n will neva eva vote for him just like i wil neva vote for mmd! At elementary skul i was only taught two things, zed has 73 tribes n we ought to live by 1zed 1nation, the barotse issue to me is non existent to me! All i knw is hh is foolish old man who stil wants to b wearing diapers, he has to come to terms wit reality! The litunga n his clan are fraudsters who just want power, sata shud make discussion of secession treasonable! Meanwhile thanx for nothing bout yo credentials Kay love, no love lost, hope you come one day to zed to feel the zed spirit!

Peace may have can be lost and it would a bad thing for zambia. As much as we think lozis are fighting for a state these same politians are the the ones behind this. Each one wants the other to fail. People lets remember that we have one zambia one nation and we have enjoyed our living so far. Don’t allow greedness take away what God has given us. A soluation will be found for w/province

H.H you are the president and a gentleman at the same time. this Sata is destroying our country. Let him talk about the 90 days more money he cheated the zambian people. Not only that but also he is trying to bring in the homol sexual in a Christian Nation. Mugabe responded by saying you Satanist to the western countries who said they are not going to give Aid to the African countries which are not going to recognise gaysm and resbians. but this Sata is just quite knowing that he has some interst.
Zambians let us open our eyes widely. Viva H.H.

Happy new year to you all. God bless you. Let us continue to debate this our country we love so much. Kay Love, it is a mistake to boast about papers here. You don’t know the individuals you are debating with. Don’t be like Mushota. HH, be in line with popular views. You lost it in the pact, went on to embrace the lowly perceived RB when people wanted change. You overestimated your chances at the elections. Don’t champion sectional interests which pits one group of Zambians against others but pick on unifying themes. This “I am educated, I am rich” thing does not help at all. Peace to you all.

Candid… Iyo kwena. Lobe. It is of paramount importance to state here that some reasoning is tantamount to mounting amatanta when you are supposed to. The concern in my opinion should have been “the Rodger Chongwe led Commission of Inquiry into the Mongu fracas and the BA64 should give us an update on where they are since the 90 days is up and some Lozis are agitating secessiön”. Not the blunt and conclusive “….Sata’s U-turn on the BA64″. It is not like it was an empty promise tempting people to be contemptious awee… Let’s talk housing and sanitation and country planning kanshi.

Fun the way things turnout at times.MMD was condemned over the barotse issue and HH was in support of mmd deeply coz of same reasons best known to himself.HH by then didnt make n comments,i wonder why.Mayb smebody cn help me.i was in support of Sata coz of his popularity but i didnt vote 4 him o n1.nw 2016 is around the corner and have to vote,hh has disappntd me with his switchin btwn parties whom to partner with, which makes him a dangerous leader.Sata hs even proved the waste.
ladies and gentlemen this is 2012 ,let us be united and get away wit tribalism.stop blaming one another for the mistakes we make, but instead learn from those mistkes.

I am deeply saddened by how we as zambians cannot hold politicians accountable for the promises they make during election campaigns . did sata promise to restore the Baroste agreement within ninety days :yes he did. Has he done it -No..he lied to the people of western province and it he has any morals should apologize . The pf was behind the inciting of riots in mongu and soon their lies on various nation issues will catch with them.let’s debate with the interest of Zambia at heart.this land is above any one individual ,it is above KK,FTJ,RB& very soon Sata..call a spade a spade

Plse fellow Zambian, lets debate without insults. We are teaching each other no need to be emotional. Tribal tag will kill our nation. Constructive critism will build our country. With due respect HH has blundered ,especially wen there are of talks over the issue.

  48. Wishi

    January 1, 2012 at 5:35 pm

HH is a prophet of doom that is headed nowhere. Pipo read the Baroste agreement before you judge Sata. Honouring an agreement means fulfilling the clauses contained therein the agreement. Am beginning to question the calibre of HHs education. Sata said he would honor the Baroste agreement which is irrevocable.
