    The Anti Corruption Act 2010,that removed the abuse of office clause is being reviewed. The quicker the abuse of office clause is re-instated,and the act of abuse of office criminalised,the easier the fight on corruption will be.

    The succesfull review of A.C.C Act 2010,will also put the present leadership in check,therefore,it calls for a multi-partisan agreement,for all justice and ethically minded members of parliament.

    Dora should not think she can do a ‘Chiluba’ on us – Mubarak is wheeled into court even with his heart condition. And there should be no SA treatment at govt’s expense – she should be treated at UTH (like ordinary Zambians). Confiscate the passport – by the way, what is the latest with henry Banda – any news of his whereabouts? I understand Zambia does not have an extradition agreement with SA???

    @Champi, carry on struggle is not achieved in one day. I believe all our comments are targeted at educating, guiding and reminding our leaders so that there should be a realisation. When God puts people in power they should understand that each decision they make every day will affect us both today and in the future. We do not want relations to be strained in any way because of one careless decision and ba Tumfweko as we comment let us help in that direction. Our leaders are human beings and lets all help them so that they do not make mistakes that will be costly to correct and will attempt brothers like @DMX to use unpleasnt language due to rage. I know @dmx did not wake up and plan to say what he said ofcourse I dont support that language our leaders should help us by making good decisions on behalf of the people so that our people are not provoked to use unfortunate language.     @Kay- you speak so well. My thought is” we all have our private lives…”but when you decide to come to public life such as to be called a “Honourable” you need to lead an exemplary lifestyle. You have to fore go some of the things you would have done in your private life. And corruption is one such vice that should not be condoned as a first commandment of public life.
    What is actually required is justice and if people after being investigated come out clean, good for them and society. Because they would have been cleared to participate to the development of the nation than to be a subject of gossip.

    @djimore, thank you so much for your progressive advise. @cn you very right in your comment my fellow citizen. I understand that the conduct by some of our former honourables is unfortunate and no wonder we have problems with ‘Lap Green’ due to dangerous decision making. This is why I am advocating and calling upon every citizen who has the heart for this country to ensure that these leaders are not left alone but should be controlled as they make decisions because we get affected by their decisions as it is now. I am not supporting madam Dora neither am I her relative. I have just tried by all means to use mild words even though I might be at rage. If a person is wrong definately that person will be reprimanded and the courts of law takes their honourable duty. We will continue teaching and advising these people only that some of us we will ensure that we struggle to fetch for mild words when correcting them. Thanx @cn
