Breaking News: CATHOLIC Father, JOSEPH MUTASHALA, DIES
Catholic Diocese of Kasama, Father Joseph Mutashala, has died.
Tumfweko was briefed about the sudden death of Fr Mutashala who died in the early hours of Wednesday 1/11 after a bout of malaria.
Father Mutashala will be greatly remembered for his tireless service in helping the poor and his famous tribute song ‘Icengelo’ which he composed and was being sang after each catholic father passed on.
Father Nicholas Kaliminwa confirmed the death of Father Mutashala to Tumfweko.
The Dioceses will soon communicate the burial arrangements of the late Mutashala at a later date.

OMG AM SO SADDENED BY THIS NEWS. I REALLY LOVE FR MUTASHALA AND ALMOST EVERY SUNDAY I PLAY HIS SONGS IN REMEMBRANCE TO MY PARISH IN ZAMBIA. I AM SO TOUCHED AND AM REALLY CRYING. Ba Father rest in peace. But you could have been more truthful and honest if you were a true father and fellow those laws of a monk!!! You pretended to be a father but you were a father of the father. Non of you guys knew him very well. i wonder were you’ll be in heaven.
