PF Cadres Establish ILLEGAL Market In LUSAKA

The same old story of ruling party cadres carrying out illegal acts with impunity has continued with PF Cadres.

This time around PF cadres have established a market in Kamwala near the Kafue roundabout fly over bridge.

PF Intercity Bus Terminus Chairperson, who declined to be named and captured on camera, defended the move saying it is aimed at decongesting the streets.

And a beneficiary, Lewis Chileshe claims many Zambians have no access to market in Lusaka.

He alleges that all the markets have been occupied by foreigners.

Another rot taking root. I am definitely sure it will only be addressed when it gets unbearable, and not now when it can be nipped in the bud. Typical Zambian leadership style. Watch the space. I notice now even in banks tellers wait for a crowd to form before they begin serving customers. This attitude must change. Lets apply the law continuously PLEASE!!!

..But there is a worse pubkic nuisance going on between Chasama and Lilayi where people are building houses hardly 17m meters from the national railway line. In one case the house is being built 7m from the rail line, (photo attached and sent to Tumfweko). A catastrophe would be eminent if a train derails and crashes into these houses. Is anybody concerned about this or we just focusing on street vending?

Zambians do not stragle in the markets. They were told to leave them and trade on streats. Bravo Zambians! You are obedient.

If this is what is transpiring on the ground, the local authority through the local Grz & housing ministry must promptly come in & address this issue of ‘who is who to occupy what’.

I think its time to be proactive my president anit God to see everywhere but he can accept such ugly vices from our cadres….we are all up for development so lets see were we can fit in even by reporting to the ACC,DEC or Police wouldnt hate.Am a radical far left PF cadre and i would love such to happen in my government especialy when MCS is the president.Instead of debating(which is good) and it ends here we lets take matter to relevant people our system controls cant be relied on for effective management but i promise you atleast things are heading the right direction….HARD PF CADRE

Many markets are empty…it is easier to sale on the streets, next to customers…and free of rent…Go and see new Soweto market…
    What next???
If every one was made to go into markets…there will be less dirt on the streets…
Who makes the laws and enforces hem?

Street vending has been there even before pf came into power, so why cry now? Did those foreigners come after 20th sept 2011, or they have been around since?

whether PF cadres or not. Lusaka is pathetic better off the famous chibolya. Am so disappointed with the judgment to let pipo sell on the streets of Lusaka. It retrogression rather than progress. The government need to look into this issue and find people rightful places to do their business.
