BLUNDERS: SATA Moves Labour Department To Information Ministry, Tourism To Foreign AFFAIRS

President Michael Sata has re-arranged three Government ministries in what he called curbing statements by ministers that alarm the nation and investors.
President Sata has directed that the portifolio of Tourism be transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and that the Labour portifolio be transferred from Youth and Sport to Ministry of Information He said it will now be known as Ministry of Information, Broadcasting and Labour.
President Sata has directed the acting Secretary to the Cabinet Evans Chibiliti to proceed with all the necessary procedures and immediately imeplement the changes.
He noted that as a Government, they have to be level-headed and not be seen to be inciting the public.
Mr Sata says he expects ministers to discourage strikes and lock-outs.
He says strikes or industrial unrests have a very negative effect on a fragile economy Zambia’s and that the same applies to lock-outs.
President Sata added that if not careful, some of the alarming statements will even destroy the little that have or the little strides government has made economically so far.
He says it is a known fact that there are numerous short-comings in almost all sectors but that there is need not to address these shortcomings through threats and being loud-mouthed.
President Sata says Zambians expect the Government to handle the problems facing the country with sobriety.
He states that he is alive to the fact that most of his ministers have no experience in the portifolios they are holding.
Sata said he therefore strongly feels it is his duty to protect the image of the party, the Government, the people of Zambia and the economy in general.
He recalls that in his statement of 30th January, 2012, he enjoined and cautioned ministers not to make statements that did not reflect Government policy or which had not been referred to and cleared by Cabinet.
President Sata says statements on the economy made by ministers that are not the competent channels for the issues they raise are damaging to the country’s credibility.

i am disappoited with the president’s move to remove labour department from kambwili because he is our Man.during campaigns MCS was for the people but today he is for the chinese why???. who is going to save us GOD in heaven just come and take us because there is no peace on this earth. we though MCS delegated power to Kambwili but he has revocked the power why? kambwili we are behind you.why should you give a department to shamenda the failure?

well well mrs president ur digging a bigger hole for your self. we all know that mr chikwanda and gbm are behind this. kambwili came with such force that those two dunderheads couldnt comprehend. kambwili was in labour for 3 weeks how can u already take that away unless of course there is pressure from ur financial support (gbm). gbm and chikwanda are power hungry and they would do anything to get holld of power.they both know that kambwili is the natural leader and the natural succesor for presidency so they are trying to keep him quiet. god knows best no one can say no wenhe has said yes. kambwili will be president one day mukanjeba!!! viva kambwili you are so strong they cant even fire you … watch this space!

My president,wat is happenning 2 you?The same radicalism exibiting Kambwili is the same reason we volted for you.Its li PF Government is operating in DEFAUT MODE.how do you take sensitive department like labour to foreign affairs???? Labour desrved its own ministry and please move the the department of Child to MCDMCH lets have one ministry dealing with childrens affairs and Gender department should be mainstreamed in all the department.Currently, gender department is just in Lusaka, it has no representation in the districts.Please PF govt stop operating in DEFAUT MODE!!

am very disappointed by some one we just took from ashes to glory and we thought he ll bring sanity to the Zambian rotten labour laws because this where most of our lives depends on. and it was joyful moment to hear kambwili’s appointment to ministry of labour and for sure the man did demonstrate for the poor zambian and he really never forgot the promise but Sata has completly forgoten us you Sata said chambish will be his breakfast but he never steped a foot in CB. sata has forgoten us the miners at chinese mines Kambwili Just form a party and we shall compaign for ok!…Viva CK
