We always look forward to Chris Katongo doing those back flips – a signal all is well for Zambia. I wish HE had powers to, with immediate effect, act on behalf of those other gallant sons of the soil who make our bossoms swell so with pride as they push themselves to bring honours home.
Let’s find ways we can honour Rainford, Mayukwa and others. Could we establish our own local Hall of Fame! Just a thought!
One thing is certain – in the grand stand of my home I will in my own way plot ways I could privately and with immediate effect create a lasting memory of these gallants even as I remember, with abundant pride, those who perished near the shores of Gabon.

Congrats Chris, u deserve it bcoz of yo patriotism. However, i dnt kno which rank de next promotion wil take u 2.Its a pity dats de highest rank u cn ever attain on de side u belong. U hv reached de appex & for u 2 go further it means u wil hv 2 fly or cross over 2 de other side- Officers. Anyway de sky can’t b de limit 4 u, i kno u hv de potential 2 go even beyond de sky. U ar stil young, muscular & energetic.Gud lucky, de warrant office class 1 siiirrrr!

But he was not on work as a soja but a footballer like any other player. So he is earnin double of the tax payers money. In China at his club + Army where he does not even report.Thandiwe was earnin double and you complained. This is the last promotion because that is his last form & in the next tournament he will be old.

Its the last rank for regular soldiers but not the last rank in the army. Next he will be 2lt or second lieutenant. God be with him. Some people are saying he gets double salary; yes because he is a footballer imwe. He joined the army as a footballer and not an engineer, driver or chaplain ok!
