BREAKING News: MUZ President, Oswell Munyenyembe, DIES

Miners Union Of Zambia (MUZ) president, Oswell Munyenyembe has died.

Mr Munyenyembe died today Tuesday 2/7 in a road traffic accident along the Ndola-Kitwe dual carriage way.

The body of the late Munyenyembe is lying at Wusakile (Mopani Copper Mines) Hospital in Kitwe.

The death of Munyenyembe is a great loss to the miners union and the miners.

On Saturday 2/5 the late MUZ president Oswell Munyenyembe said in Kitwe that those that were condemning Kambwili, who is now sports and youth minister following the realignment of ministries by President Michael Sata on Friday, did not know how stubborn some Chinese investors were and how much they mistreated Zambian workers.
“Kambwili is just okay; the Chinese have been mistreating Zambian workers for a long time. They shot 11 miners in Sinazongwe last year. Miners have really suffered at the hands of the Chinese and those that are today condemning Kambwili have been silent when these Chinese have been mistreating their fellow Zambians,” Munyenyembe said.
He added that complaints against Chinese investors’ mistreatment of Zambian workers were not new but that they had persisted because of inaction.
“The Chinese can’t bend if they are not handled by someone who is strong,” Munyenyembe said.
He said while investment needed to be supported, it was also important that investors adhered to the provisions of the law.
Munyenyembe added that investment was supposed to benefit both the investors and people in the host nation where those investors invested and that if labour laws were abrogated, then that investment risked becoming futile.

Too bad. But what lesson can we get from this? Death can strike when least expected. This is why we should always live and walk in the fear of God. “If anyone believes in me, he will live because I live” JESUS

Such deaths are no accident. The extent of Chinese Mafia on the copperbelt cannot be underestimated. The chaps are into all manner of illicit deals mostly around copper theft.

This site is full of shit and am getting tired of their half baked and suggestive ways of reporting. Instead of just reporting that Mr Munyenyembe has died, they are suggesting that the accident was engineered or something like that. Whoever the writer is, they must be very dull and petty. Report with full facts instead of reporting nonsense all the time and lying big time! Grow up and learn to be professional instead of behaving like school dropouts who are angry at the world. Every story I have read on this site has a dull person’s twist and a lie in it, you even published President Sata’s picture on the ****** story your site carried about an African President that will die, what were you suggesting? Quit the rubbish already coz you are so annoying and getting on the nerves of a lot of people I believe!!! MHSRIEP
