Mayukas Market Value Increases To 10 Million USD(50 Billion Kwacha)

Chipolopolo striker, Emmanuel Mayuka’s market value has shot over 10 times in two years with Arsenal leading the chase for his signature. Mayuka moved from Kabwe Warriors for a meager US $50, 000 (K250 million) transfer to join Maccabi Tel Aviv about four years ago before Young Boys of Switzerland scooped him for about US $1.41 in his first season.

The player’s value, according to experts, has sharply increased following an explosive performance at the Africa Cup of Nations which Zambia won beating Ivory Coast 8-7 on penalties in the final.

He is now fetching between US $10 million and US $12 million which could see him transfer for not less than 50-billion-kwacha.

Both Newcastle and Fulham had expressed interest in the player before the Africa Cup kicked off but Arsenal is among the new entrants in the chase.

However, Mayuka’s agent suggests there are more concrete offers from other European teams besides the English trio.

Meantime, Mayuka is expected to report back at his club next week after Young Boys gave him an extended stay in Zambia following the team’s triumph at the Africa Cup.

Can someone advise the young man not to get too excited and end up making a wrong decision. let him settle down first and consider all possible options, so that he doesn’t remain in the desert. a number of his friends have found themselves in the middle of no-where because of excitement. he is a good player and has potential to become even better. let him also refrain from drunkenness and women otherwise he might end up with no future. look up to Messi, Ronaldo etc.

Great Kalu; Make FAZ take advantage of this victory by taking our league a step further. Please organise the FAZ league professionally. Let the benfits of being champions filter down to our football clubs.
Let the rest of Africa want to tune in to watch Zambian soccer on Supersport. Right now we are all with you and Iam sure business wants to be with soccer so take advantage of this goodwill to polish up our league. VIVA Great Kalu VIVA FAZ!

What the boys were paid is what most of their colleagues get weekly! We think the boys are because of the poverty levels in our midst. Mayuka can make far much more than even the $10M if he is steady. Some chaps will drink themselves to death. They couldn’t even wait for the tournament to finish before sneaking out for a beer

    February 17, 2012 at 8:06 am

Mayuka has powerful raw power and skill. He should weigh his chances properly and chose a team that will guarantee his playing week in week out and not be on the bench. Arsenal is a good destination as it has a lot of yournger players and there is a vacuum there for him to fit in and play. Then other bigger teams can poach him later.

Imwe ba Tumfweko? Which valuation did you do to arrive at $10m!? Which “experts” are you referring to in your story? There is no mention of any transfer fee in the Talksport article you are referring to! We know Mayuka is worth quite a lot more now but please be professional in writing and stopping spreading wide claims without data or supporting facts!!!!

Ba tumfweko tell us where you got the value from and please tell the readers that the 10million is not his pay/salary or for him but for his club and why are people bringing Kalu into this, Mayauka is no longer under FAZ but the Swiss FA for clearance. Educate yourselves more on football issues before you spit out rubbish pali our very own ‘GEM’ KALU……. VIVA ZAMBIA AND ALL THE 23 PLAYERS + COACHES THAT WON US THIS CUP!

Sunzu and Katongo are being tracked by some clubs in Germany. Nathna and Francis kasonde are needed by Sundowns Fc in RSA althouth they are at TP Mazembe, Emmanuel Mbola is going to Porto Fc in Portugal and Felix katongo is going back to Angola, while Isaac chansa might leave Pirate for a European club.

U pipo who hate Kalu wats yo problem kanshi? u drag kalu’s name where it is not even supposed to.. why? Here in Zambia we hav no respect for heroz why? Brazil still respects Pele, Ghana still respects Adedi, France respects Zeezle, Becks in England, Sir Booby charlton the list is endless. But here even wen we hav an Acon cup in his reign we cant even realise his passion fo futball. Pipo like Simataa hav realised their sins and yet iwe ur still toking nonsense. GO Great Kalu go Zambia go Mayuka!!!!
