Dr. Kanono Arrested After Sleeping With 17-Year Old Girl
Lusaka’s traditional Doctor Kalonga Kanono has been arrested by Police for allegedly raping a 17 year old girl.
Police Acting Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga has confirmed the arrest of Dr. Kanono to ZNBC News in Lusaka on Sunday.
Mr Hamoonga says the incident occurred on February 17, 2012.
He explained that Dr Kanono allegedly gave a lift to a grade 12 pupil of a named school in Lusaka, who had knocked off from school.
Mr Hamoonga says whilst driving around 13 hours on February 17, he allegedly claimed that he had received a phone call from his secretary and drove to a named lodge in Kamwala South.
He says Dr Kanono allegedly committed the offence at the lodge.
Mr Hamoonga has since warned pupils not to accept lifts from men as this puts them in a compromising situation.
But when contacted, Dr Kanono says the girl was his sister and that the matter has already been resolved.

The so-called ‘Dr. Kanono’ tells the 17 year old girl that he has received a call from his secretary,then he drives the girl to a Lodge and the girl still thinks its normal.
Akapya Kulya is right in his comment were he says ”The girl was just in for the sex”.

Was she at gun point?, If its YES then its rape but if she WALKED on her own into the lodge then thats crap story.Why?
1. She knew its a lodge and they are about to go in at mid-day, a lodge is not for a choir practice she knew what was to happen. But she WALKED in consciously not drugged.
2. If she was forced into the lodge there is always a receptionist at front desk to SCREAM to! Did she do that? Nope!
