Republican President Michael Sata has with immediate effect reshuffled four Permanent Secretaries in his government.
In response to events in Mongu, Permanent Secretary Augustine Seyuba has been moved to Solwezi as new NW PS, swapping with PS Mushala who goes to Western Province.
Seyuba is the third Permanet Secretary, President Sata has appointed in North Western Province since September 2011.
Meanwhile, Permanent Secretary for Southern – Ms Inutu Suba has also been moved to Central Province while her counterpart Edwin Zumbunu moves to Southern Province.
Ms Suba is a former Town Clerk who has served in Kabwe before. Recently civil servants in Livingstone called for the removal of Ms Suba, citing harassment of her fellow women.
This is according to a press statement released by the Presidential press aide, George Chellah.

Mr President, reshuffles will not help you in anyway. you are spending most of your time changing ministries, positions, re-alignment of district just to mention but a few. This is a share waist of time. Let people perform accordingly. Give them time to copy with work and moreover there are no proper handovers. How do you expect people to perform when they are working with the constant fear of the un known. All else, you will never fulfill any of your campaign promises and you are de-campaigning yourself. Watch out Mr President.

Who is counting the cost of these firings and reshuffles and who knows the rationale. You can not give senselessness time. Nonsense and non rationale is just that. Non performers, when did you give them time how do you know. If you can not get an ace a blind pick of another card will not make the probability any better. A single toss, a single occurrence of a dice gives you the same chances as when you began, not more.

People let us not just wake up and start shooting the President and our friends over the decisions made by our highest office.
Most of these decisions are been influenced by you people.Ms Suba, the Tongas didnt want her. What was the President suppose to do to the people he loves…Give them what they want. The Kaondes on PS Mushala,is the same case. What do you people want him to do for you…
Let us support our President and let him do his job.
