Malawi President Bingu wa Mutharika has died after doctors at Kamuzu Central Hospital failed to resuscitate him when he suffered a cardiac arrest earlier in the day

The 78-year-old President was taken to the hospital in the capital Thursday morning after he reportedly collapsed. “The President has died,” said a top government official who declined to be named. First Lady Callista and three of Mutharika’s four children were at the hospital with the President.

Others were his brother Peter and State House Chief of Staff Edward Sawerengera. Health Minister Jean Kalirani and Police chief Peter Mukhito were also there. The news will inevitably lead to speculation about Malawi’s political future but the Constitution says Vice President takes over until the next elections.

Wa Mutharika is a former World Bank official once heralded for his stewardship of a southern African country that is among the world’s poorest. In recent years, he has been accused of trampling on democratic rights. He first came to power in a 2004 election, and was overwhelmingly re-elected five years later.
In a statement on T.B Joshua’s blog and Emmanuel TV this week the prophet disowned the branch housed in Harare

TB Joshua

This past Sunday Nigerian ‘prophet’ Temitope Balogun Joshua (TB Joshua) repeated his February prophecy that “the death of an old African president” is imminent. T.B Joshua, who leads the Synagogue Church of All Nations (Scoan), announced that an African leader would die within 60 days.

“God loves us, you should pray for one African head of state, when I say President… again the sickness that is likely to take life; sudden death, it could be sickness being in the body for a long time but God showed me the country and the place but I’m not here to say anything like that,” Joshua said in February.

On Sunday Joshua narrowed down the location by excluding West Africa.

“What I was saying is very close now. You want to hear more, and it is very, very close now. Whether you like it or not, this is what I’ve seen. Pray for a leader. Well, God showed me everything but I’m praying to see if this thing can be changed,” Joshua said, adding he would “not say anything more than that.”

@Shi Mpundu Bulasho you speak sence. Bingu falls ill, the devil uses TBJ to foretells doom. He couldn’t say specifically when Bingu would die because he doesn’t control life. But since he was around when God told Adam that he would die, he knows exactly how life diminishes. I feel pity for TBJ and his blind followers for accepting to be blinded and used by the devil. 2 Cor 4:4. He did the same to Ivory Coast’s loss at afcon.

Why are you insulting the man of God? who told you that he never prophesise good things. Didnt he prophesy that Ghana will win the under 20 world cup? or that Zambia will win the Africa cup? isnt this good news. Was it not in the Bible, in the book of kings that one king of Isreal complained against ta Prophet of God that “he never prophesy anything good about me” and when he went against the word of God from the Man of God, he surely died in battle? Why then do you attract unnecessary curses upon your lives by insulting annointed men of God? take time to watch the prophesy once again, the man of God said “pray so that it can be changed. Pray for your President” Instead of praying, you are busy insulting the Prophet. May God have mercy on you.

Country men and women, what is God communicating to the living in Zambia? The prophecies have been true to the word of God and most connected to us in Zambia and Africa at large. My question is why did God reveal the death of Bingu to us? It is time to be wise and not engage in useless chatter that goes on the blog. We need to prepare our lives.

We thought it was UKWA and were geared for a mamoth celebration that at last the greatest liar had gone. He who kept rejoicing at the death of Andy and Levy. He who even mocked both of them when they lived because of their ilnesses. It is really sad that this TB Joshua prophesy has gone somewhere and not here!!

In the bible the prophets were having visions and there were prophecies about the future and there prophesy were giving hope to people not the way tb joshua is having his visions. John the revaletor the time he was having visions in revaluation in potmas prison he wasn’t having them alone but in the presence of someone and not like tb joshua. He just a wolf in the sheep clothing. Christian wakeup with the false prophet.

I feel for the people of malawi, just a few minutes ago i found over ten malawi reg vehicles at total filling station (chipata)getting fuel into there cars in readiness to cross into malaw…
The sad picture i saw was that they are over drawing fuel into their vehicles for a perfect reason that seem, they are not sure where they will find fuel in their country especially that their is a dark cloud back home……
Malawi is nolonger a better place to live in

HOLD ON PEOPLE! When TBJ gave the profesy on the 1st, he said he will continue to bring up the issue when it is closest; the name and country. Unless he got his own profesy mixed-up on the dates, we should assume ANOTHER PRESIDENT COULD STILL DIE!!! He didn’t come back to talk about it so he could come tomorrow and and say the name of another HOS who could die.
