MMD To Scrutinize Mutati’s Role In Parliament.
The opposition Movement for Multi-party Democracy (MMD) has called on opposition parliamentarians to be alert and provide necessary checks and balances to the ruling patriotic front government.
MMD Deputy National Secretary Chembe Nyangu says it would be wrong for opposition parliamentarians to relax amid so many blunders by the patriotic front.
Recently, MMD Solwezi central Member of Parliament Lucky Mulusa said the relaxed attitude by Felix Mutati as leader of the opposition in parliament is suppressing progressive debates meant to assist the government.
Mr. Nyangu says the party will first have to study the matter for it to be handled appropriately.
He however tells QFM that if the reports are true, it would incorrect for Mr. Mutati, as leader of the opposition, to be relaxed because the opposition has a huge task to play in parliament.

Felix Mutati is an autocrat not a cadre as George Kunda.Mutati cant make a good president for MMD at a time like this.He’s not any cloze to GK or Micheal Sata.Pariament kukosa,learn from VJ.

the opposition MPs have to be vocal becasue this current Govt is leading the country into a ditch. mutati has potential because he is educated, There are too many dull and uneducated people in Govt these days.

Being vocal is not synonymous to being wise. Remember that there are educated fools. Mutati speaks when it is necessary and is wise. Not like you who can open your #@*hole at any comment. Can you spot the difference between Felix & Nevers? One speaks issues the other seeks opportunities to speak.

Mutati is mature ,has the stature, understands economics…..watch him debate, he has latitude and composure….very reassuring to would be investors The MMD ‘s policies make no mistake….. were world class because of these educated fine gentlemen and women. For Zambia to be voted by Forbes magazine as one of the finest business destination it means somebody did their home work. PF should build on this platform and not just make some immature irresponsible statements…sis. PF did jack in 90 days and frankly we did not expect them to….they have 5 years use it wisely….times moves fast…
