Mugabe ‘GRAVELY ILL’ in Singapore Hospital

Zimbabwe’s president Robert Mugabe is reportedly gravely ill in a Singapore hospital.

Local media is reporting that the 88-year-old, who is believed to be suffering from prostate cancer, is surrounded by close family members.

A Zimbabwean cabinet meeting has been postponed amid reports Mr Mugabe will hand power to defence minister Emmerson Mnangagwa.

The Zimbabwe government insists Mr Mugabe is in good health, saying he only flew to Singapore to help his daughter enrol in a local university.

Singapore University registration does not begin until September.

Last year, WikiLeaks published diplomatic cables from 2008 which claimed Mr Mugabe had prostate cancer and had only a few years to live.

Mr Mugabe’s ZANU-PF party took to Twitter in an attempt to dispel the latest rumours.

The Twitter feed said he was “merely on a prolonged shopping trip with his wife” in Singapore.

Mr Mugabe’s second wife Grace, who is 40 years his junior, has been criticised in the past for indulging in lavish shopping sprees while so many Zimbabweans live in extreme poverty.

On Twitter ZANU-PF has railed against the Mugabe death rumours, claiming they are the work of “impatient and arrogant imperialists”.

“So much hype about our beloved leader Cde GR Mugabe, people are spreading rumors like feces during a cholera crisis,” it said.

ZANU-PF claims Mr Mugabe will rule until “he has freed all of Africa”. Agencies

Bob is sick, very sick. Hugo Chaves the Venezuelan President the world is always informed. African leaders it is a secrecy though they use OUR Money, the Tax we pay. So it should never be a secret. They are govt., property. I wonder why always they whisk the dead body away. LPM it happened in Egypt to France. Mutharika’s body secretly whisked to J’burg. So Dead Presidents bodies have an effect on us. ONly FTJ was BID.

African leaders, they always hide their sickness meanwhile it is tax payers money being used. So we wont pray for him since gone to look for a place for his daughter who can Only be in school in September?

Has he gone to stash his Millions of dollars or what cause he is in his final period of ruling. At 88 surely, he cannot go on forever.

    April 10, 2012 at 4:25 pm

    Pipo!!!! lol.
    He is not human.
He takes good land away from farmers that work the land! that make the land rich with crops and cattle.
He takes that away and gives it to people (pipo) that do stuffall with it.
They kill murder honest hard working farmers and rape their wives to take what is not theirs.
Now all that land is unproductive!!!!!
you have to be 3 years old or mentally unstable not to see that this is not in the interest of Zimbabwe.
Please do not even stand up for this racest pig.

That’s why Africa is far from development..the comments that individuals make are rather arrogant..we all need to change our mindsets if we are set to develop..it’s saddening at how people try to insinuate that our cultures are full of hatred or insults..all have sinned before the eyes of God..and to wish death upon someone is horrifying and immature..check your lives as well.

AFRICA MY AFRICA,SO SANG ONE OF AFRICA’S,NOT GREAT SON,FOR WE ARE DIFFERENT IN THOUGHTS,THE QUESTION IS WHY SHOULD AFRICA MOURN SITTING PRESIDENTS,PEOPLE,AS THEIR THOUGHT CLEARLY STATE,CELEBRATE AFRICAN PRESIDENTS’ DEATHS CAUSE THE OVER RULE AND BECOME DICTATORS,IN SHORT THE BECOME FOOLISH AND FORGET WHY THEY ARE IN THOSE SEATS.LET AFRICA HAVE ENEGETIC MEN AND WOMEN TO RULE,AT LEAST THE PROBABILITY OF SUCH KICKING A BUCK IN POWER WOULD BE 1 OUT OF THE 54 COUNTRIES WE HAVE ON THE CONTINENT AT THE MOMENT 52 OUT OF THE 54 PRESIDENTS ARE LIKELY TO COLAPSE AND DIE WHILE SAVING COZ THEY ARE SPENT FORCES,ONE MOMENT EXCEPT FOR THE TWO FEMALE PRESIDENTS,AS WE MAY ALL KNOW,THE WORLD HAS MORE WIDOWS THAN WIDOWERR
