You have a point there. You are more than intelligent.
Chimwemwe,
I got your point too in agreement.
Bantustan,
You are the the greatest ***** on this blog. No thinking capacity and a tribalist.

The Media should know how to write so that people should read and understand meaning, not to speculate. The Police Service and Print/Electronic Media what is wrong with you?
How did the two officers found themselves at that house and time?
The victim’s wife said her husband went to bank where they drunk or not?
Who opened the main gate for the vicious dogs to access to humans; police officers in this case?
Furthermore if the owner of dogs and house is there friend does mean that they did know about dogs?
The last one dogs bark before they bite or attack; what happened in there case?

I am failing to understand the story. Reason being it was 2 o-clock AM where the officers on patrol or what? Please make the nation understand. This is very serious. On the other hand where the Dogs registered and treated?

The person who killed the dogs must be arrested aswell because that is inhuman! The sad part is the dogs couldn’t tell their story. I gat a feeling those cops were upto to something fishy. Rest in peace German Shepards, the Kennel Clubs around the world will mourn you.

Its bad that our constable officer can die in this manner. However,a question still comes that why would a police officer go and patrol at such an hour in someone’s premises? Why?

What were the officers in plain clothes on foot doing at 02.00 in the morning? Why did they not notify the owner of the house? Does this guy/lady breed Alsatians, or how many dogs can be kept at a single household per time? A trained Alsatian will not attack, unless you enter it’s dormain, in this case the wall boundary. Our “officers” must have used unorthodox means to try and enter the premises!!! The dogs should not have been summarily excuted before we clarified whether the cops were for real or just plain hoodlums.

This is very unfortunate that a policeman lost his life,However, having said that, dogs will never attack without warning. i feel the necessary steps to ensure this misfortune did not occur, were not taken.
Further! I am sure the cops knew that the premises had dogs , why enter? dogs are animals, a German Shepard is a very intelligent dog and it will attack if its territory is compromised.
such dogs are usually trained to protect and are actually very good guard dogs. to shoot down 8 dogs is actually inhuman, in my opinion. it would have been best to have the dogs quarantined at a police barracks or SPCA to insure such does not happen.
If this was to get out to the world at large, it could potentially cause a lot of unnecessary heat for Zambia as a whole on animal rights.
Please do not miss quote me, my condolences and sympathy to the family of the deceased and to that of the patient, but rather look at the whole picture. WAS IT NECESSARY TO KILL THE DOGS

Please this is serious though people are taking it as a joke. 2a.m. and those simple men being friends to that wealthy man, how and whats the connection? A simple constable, this leaves me to wonder. Who opened the gate? Why at 2a.m.? where they on duty? Did he know they were visiting him? Some news say the dogs went out looking for pree, now who found the other? Where exactly did it happen in the yard or outside? We need more info and this case should not go to rest until we get to the bottom of the neglegence. As for the dogs, they were killed for causing death we understand
still in doubt
April 17, 2012 at 8:40 am
We want updates on what is happening in the country same as in the Kalulushi case where a whiteman’s dog was having canal knowledge with our children, the Police said they will keep updating us but is a forgotten story, where is the professionalism with our Police service? I feel even the dogs killing a Police officer will die a natural death, no further update.

TOO! TOO!!….BAD.
But, I reside there and I am a victim of thieves there. They are a lot thieves there this time around than before. As I am posting this now, thieves came to my house in the early hours of today. Am tired of reporting to police now coz they do nothing even if u report. I have had thieves coming to my house for more than 13 times just this year alone.
I had two africanis ‘traditional dogs’ which where killed three weeks ago. Thanks to learn of the German Shepherds.
I TOO… look forward to purchase Five Vicious German Shepherd Dogs for now. Has anyone know where I can buy them from? Please..please… send me the direction or contact number.
