Scores Turn Up To Pay Respects To Kunda
Scores of people have turned up to file past the casket of former republican vice president George Kunda at Mulungushi international conference centre were his body is laying in state.
This follows government decision to allow allowing Zambians the opportunity to pay their last respects to the former vice president who died on Monday at the University Teaching Hospital at the age of 56.
The people mostly clad in Black and national colours are yet to start viewing the remains of the former vice president, amid tight security provided by Military police.
A check by QFM News at the Mulungushi International Conference centre at around 09:00, found people had already gathered.
The body of the late vice president arrived at11:00 hours for viewing.
President Sata has declared three days of national mourning in honour of the late former Republican Vice-President George Kunda.

you were a strong person who saved in our country Zambia like being the president of LAZ,Attorney General and being the vice president. This when people will appreciate you may your soul rest in peace till we meet again and we pray for the Kunda family for Gods intervention. its not easy to loose your beloved one.

Best thing one can do is to express his/her opinion. But if your opinion is so negative that it does not fit in the situation keep it to yourself. Kunda despite being bad person to you, he had a family, friends and followers who deserves some respect. No person on earth will be good to all people even Jesus was hated be the leaders of that time. Therefore keep you negative comments to yourself.
I know that even you who comment negatively would want to be respected.

Love him or hate him, George Kunda, S.C. had one attribute that I had come to admire about him- He stood for what he believed in and articulated it as such whether you agreed with him or not. Very few politicians or ordinary people are like that. Those that are condemning him are not being realistic. George was the only one who had the courage to take the PF on when others were scared for fear of being investigated for one crime or another. He was even prepared to challenge the legality of the appointment of the current Vice President considering that he can notm act as President in the absence of the incumbent. THAT IS WHAT I CALL COURAGE AND THAT WILL BE GREATLY MISSED.

Kundas death is just a kill of information. As such people are going to comfirm and proof that is ia truely dead. Chipini mungalu uwapilibukile nga pamusengele from Mwanawasa dream of fighting corruption and got judgement from uk courts to defending the thiefs with RuBbish(RB)as they were stealing like during kafupis rule. So let it be anyway rest in peace and let the wealthy wrongly acquired from zamtel and savoy hotel be for the rest. Any way as he was a catholic he shall surely get the communion of all saints and rest in peace

I knw george kunda made alot of mistakes and he did good things for hmslf , to de family and to the pipo of zambia as well.bt @ this point in tym, he is gone, is no more and he ll never come back to life, lets us respect him wth the de respect he deserve as one person wo served our country as republican vise president/ president.let us nt ko hm names.
