16-Year-Old Girl Defiles Boy, 11
A SIXTEEN-YEAR-OLD female juvenile in Mporokoso district in Northern Province has been arrested for allegedly defiling an 11-year-old boy and infecting him with a sexually transmitted illness (STI).
Northern Province police commissioner Mary Chikwanda confirmed the arrest of a named girl and said the female juvenile is in police custody waiting to appear in court soon.
Ms Chikwanda has since identified the girl of a named village in Chief Mumpolokoso.
She said the girl is alleged to have had unlawful carnal knowledge of a named boy of the same village on a known date and infected him with an STI.
Ms Chikwanda said the girl has been arrested and charged with defiling the boy in unexplained circumstances.
She wondered why immorality and sexual abuse cases have become common these days despite the efforts by law enforcement agencies to curb the crime.
Ms Chikwanda said it is unheard of that older girls can force themselves on younger boys or fathers defile their own daughters whom they are supposed to protect.
She said children are innocent people who need to be protected and guided for them to grow up as responsible future leaders of the nation.
Ms Chikwanda said girls should not engage in illegal sexual acts such as forcing themselves on younger boys but should concentrate on education.

When I was growing up, most of boys my age had fantasies on older girls, in fact more than 70% of us lost our virginity to older and more exprienced girls.
