Chisamba Lungu Out Of Angola Friendly

The Chipolopolo boys concluded their training session ahead of the Angola friendly match tomorrow without Russia based midfielder Chisamba Lungu who had been excused for family reasons.

Assistant coach Honour Janza said it was yet to be clear whether Lungu would make the trip.

“We only have a problem with Chisamba who has some family problems there is an illness in the family. The team manager is getting closer to the family so he will give us a feedback before the departure time,” said Janza who also doubles as FAZ technical director.

“Physically he is okay but the illness information came in the night yesterday (Monday) but he trained yesterday in the morning and afternoon its only today that he missed. He is still on the list of those who are supposed to travel.”

When contacted, team manager Lusekelo Kamwambi claimed the Doctor would decide whether Lungu would travel or not.

After being reminded that he had been excused for family reasons Kamwambi, a team manager of many years promised to follow up the matter.

And Janza said Nyambe Mulenga would captain the side that will play in Angola.

“The captain of the team is Nyambe Mulenga he will captain the team because he is one of the most senior players with Kalililo Kakonje,” Janza said.

Evans Kangwa trained with the rest of the team putting to rest worries that his injury sustained over the weekend during a league match Red Arrows was serious.

Zambia play Angola in an international friendly that marks the first game the Chipolopolo will play since winning the Africa Cup in February.

Renard will be using the match to assess a host of local players for possible inclusion in next month’s two World Cup qualifiers against Sudan and Ghana respectively.

Come on, what did TB Joshua said? Leave the servant of God out of this. And I take a lot of exception at people that insult the servant of God. Ir reminds me of the bronze snake. It takes the wise to discern.

But whAt suprises me is that the players who play the frendlies are not the plays who play in the final game. What preparation do we talk about ? Make understand. When the coach select the team for a frendly match let the same players play even in the crucial game now here we are just jokers
