Defending champions Power Dynamos produced another top class performance to silence ‘noisy’ neigbhours Nkana 5-1 in a FAZ Week 12 fixture that marked the opening of the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
Power came from behind to score five goals and continue mounting pressure on leaders Zesco United who, earlier at the same venue were 2-0 victors, over Nchanga Rangers.
‘Clever boy’ Mukuka Mulenga cancelled Nkana’s lead with a 38th minute strike. Joseph Milanzi had put the red and white ahead in the 26th minute.
The Beston Chambeshi coached Power were in uncompromising mood as Govender Simwala picked the lead at the nick of half time with skipper Joseph Sitali putting matters beyond Nkana with a 74th minute goal.
As if that was not enough, Power continued entertaining an impressive turn-out, this time Graven Chitalu and Kennedy Mudenda registering on the scoresheet in the 85 and 90 minute respectively.
The goal-galore gave soccer fans a worthwhile outing to the magnificent sports structure constructed by the Chinese.
In other results on the day, Zesco United beat Nchanga Rangers 2-0 while Zanaco had a 1-0 better result over Green Buffaloes with Red Arrows settling for a goalless draw.

Please post as many forward looking sentiments as possible, so we know where we went wrong and try to correct those during the Zambia Ghana match. The one about parking has been noted. Thanx

I watched the two matches; Dynamo were the most impressive side and above it was a magnificent feeling to watch the games in the ultra morden stadia. Hope we take of the structure years to come long after the chinese are all gone.

nice game Nchanga rangers, ba Zesco you took the say but u did impress me. power vs Nkana, the results speak for themselve. For power, look for a new goal keeper, thats why Herve Renard and Davies Phiri left him out of th world qualifier. mwanawasa stadium, good wotk to the chinese.

The stadium is beautiful. I was on the VIP section but there was so much dust on the seats. I only realized later on. The parking on this side was okay. Those that came in earlier complained about the lack of catering services. People starved
