The Ministry of Education (MoE) will recruit 8,897 teachers this month – MoE Public Relations Officer.
The Ministry wishes to encourage applicants to apply for rural posts wher most of the vacancies exist.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock says a total of 960 college graduates would immediately be employed as Extension Offices, while another 960 will be recruited in the next month.

Good idea but please also ensure that these teachers get paid on time. History has it that the teachers in the rural areas really suffer when it comes to getting their salaries because the ministry of finance has to send the salaries to the rural bank branches and it takes a long time for the process. I would urge the government to sort this out before sending all these teachers out to work in rural areas. And also if the government can put an empasis on hardship allowance, this will encourage applicants to come forward. Its not easy to live in shangombo for example.
All in all, this is a perfect idea and hats off to the President. This is delivering what they promised they would. remember, rome was not built in one day even though some people probably thought they could do it

The results for 2016 General elections have started coming out. PF SATA is leading 72%, followed by Elias Chipimo with 16%. Nevers and HH are tied at 5% each. The other 2% is being shared by the remaining contenders. It is likely that MR SATA will go through without a re-run since he is above 50%.
Kikikikiki, Hahahaha, No chance for HH. Actualy his two terms is over in UPND. It is the end of UPEND since no is above HH in UPEND.

Peacock you’re observing these issues intelligently.PF at work . these vultuers are been shown that water and oil never mix.If they can continue like this PF will not need to compgain come 2016.PF will have outright victory no need for re-run the 50+1 will not be a hinderance because PF will win by 72% as yoy have corectly observed. Peacock thump up.
