DRAMA: NEVERS Shows Up At State House Doors: ODI! BUSHE BA SATA EPO BALI?

Nevers Mumba

It was one of those unsuspecting lazy Sunday afternoons when the most random of acts happened. MMD leader Nevers Mumba put up a show that Oscar Awards judges would have taken interest in the category of ‘TV Clown of the Year’.
Close associates of Nevers Mumba told Tumfweko that ‘the boss’ has been having sleepless nights lately following clandestine tactics by his picker, former president Rupiah Banda, to dislodge him from the top of the former ruling party and subjugate him to the role of number two to UPND top man Hakainde Hichilema.

To add salt and chilli to the injury, President Sata did not spare the former clergy when the head of state responded to the MMD leader’s sarcastic letter. President Sata, in his letter, reminded Pastor Mumba of his decision to abandon his party to accept the position of vice president in late president Levy Mwanawasa’s government. This was in response to pastor Mumba’s accusations that President Sata was destroying democracy by appointing opposition MPs to government.

As if that was not enough, Pastor Mumba was told off by his own MPs, whom he threatened to expel. “We have the blessings of Rupiah Banda,” they said, obviously reminding the pastor that RB was still firmly in charge of the MMD’s destiny.

Just when you thought he’s had enough, another bombshell hit him. He was told that two more of his MPs had chosen to serve government. The former Man-of-God could not take it anymore and he told his aides: “Baiche tiyeni tumumone Sata, achilamo!”

Carrying along with him, the notoriously violent MMD cadre, Scorpion Kadobi, Pastor Mumba arrived at the State House gates and, without an appointment, demanded to see the president. “Bushe ba Sata emobali? Ndebafwaya!” he simmered
As he fumed and panted, security people advised Pastor Mumba to conduct himself in a sobre manner and make a proper appointment if he wished to meet the head of state. But the pastor was having none of this as he insisted on seeing the President, flanked by the infamous Kadobi.

The under pressure MMD boss, however, was driven off in his American Ford after his efforts proved futile, although in the vehicle, he told his aides that he had achieved his purpose since his antics were captured by TV cameras.
Back home he sat and waited for the 18:30 Muvi TV News and the 19:00hrs ZNBC Main News to see whether his antics grabbed the headlines.
“He looked a bit relieved after the incident,” said one of his handlers.

Ba tumfweko, the correct spelling of his name should be ‘NEVER US’ cos he’ll never win our sympathy through cheap propaganda.

Now this is so desperate from a man who left the pulpit to go and fight a battle he can never win. This was so cheap of him. surely he should be aware that one cannot just walk in front of the state house and demand to see the president. I am peturbed. He has sunk so low and lost all his respect. Nasanguka fye kaponya nomba.

A leader aspiring for higher position and one who has experinced it before, can not reduce himself to a cadre! What an injury and an insult to his dignity! REPENT NEVERS MUMBA! ZAMBIA SHA BE SAVED with or without you.
My advise to Dr. nevers is that, let him take off his pride and humble himself! This country is not for him for Presidency but for the GOSPEL of the cross. I miss him every day for the uncompromising massages of the cross and the great vision he has had ‘Zambia shall be saved’.
As much as I believe in Christian leaders and none christian leaders’ partcipation in aspiring for higher positins in politics, but for Nevers, its NEVER! his destiny is to prepare Zambia and the nations of the world about The Second Coming of Jesus Christ. NEVERS, YOU WERE TOUCHED BY GOD TO TOUCH LIVES WITH THE UNCOMPROMISING AND LIFE CHANGING MASSAGE OF THE CROSS!
as it has been prophesied about a leader to take up the presidency of this country to fight idolatry, immorality, corruption without any degree of compromise,a leader that shal use his ADVANTAGE TO ADVANTAGE THE DISADVANTAGE economically, certainly it can not be Nevers on the position of head of state!
I believe in you Man of God! I still feel your pride will not buy into this advice now but God forbid that you should prove me right when its too late! FAITHING IS NOT FOOLISHNESS NEITHER IS FOOLISHNESS FAITHING!

Supposing the President did come out, what was Mr. Mumba’s agenda? What is it he really wanted to tell the President that could not be said in an amicable manner? Was his issue was urgent, he needed to actually break the law and disrespect the high office like that. Supposing there were ambassadors or foreign dignitaries visiting our State House at the moment, what was their perception of the visitor? And the rule of law in our Country?

What a disrespectful man, this type of behavior is so derogatory of one’s reputation. Nevers Mumba should be arrested for threatening national security. People do not just walk up to state house and make noise. Driving along independence avenue, if one’s car breaks down, in no time ba secret service will ensure the vehicle is tolled as far away from the State House as possible. This is a clear indication of just how we closely safeguard our President. Ba OP please arrest this thug for (1): Treason and (2): threatening national security, show him that Zambia is not a lawless country like he perceives it to be. And advise for MMD , the best way to get rid of this hitchhiker is to pass a vote of no confidence in him – after such behavior, come on guys (ba MMD that is) what a hell are you waiting for!
