JOY FM Station Manager Writes To Nevers Mumba ‘i will lose nothing by not having you on my platform program’

Dear Nevers Mumba, you feel free to go to State House without an appointment yet you want Joy FM Management to write you just for you to appear on the Platform program this Thursday Morning, what kind of insolence is that? I Remember very well how your counterpart His excellence Michael Sata who is in State House now respected even the least of all media houses,i would edge you to learn from him on that aspect! When you need us we might not be that interested to give you your would be much required cover! As long as i remain STATION MANAGER of this radio station, i will lose nothing by not having you on my platform program so you and your Bureaucratic rules can hang. This i thought is the time to show US how open your door is by accepting even a phone call invitation like SATA did. I mean i called you and you accepted our invitation and you asked us to remind you and then after we do just that a day before, all you do is ask me to put it in writing???HELLO!

You never know who might be in power tomorrow, so you as a station manager and a business owner, you should be impartial and professional at all times irrespective of how rude the individual you writing to has been to you. All these Radio DJs are so appalling when it comes to reading the news that I turn the volume down, its like the all report to work intoxicated.

I thought they teach you these things in your Communication courses in Journalism. The letter is unprofessional and very childish. I wouldn’t expect the Manager to write such a letter to anyone. This doesn’t look true.
The manner of writing doesn’t seem to be the way the manager can write.
The grammar is not adding up.
The tone of the voice and the fume do not reflect the truth of what may have transpired.
If he had problems with writing nevers to invite him how come he has no problem insulting him?
I doubt if such a thing ever happened.
Of late tumfweke has been on nevers. Against such background I find it difficult to believe the authenticity of the publication.
You choose to mention the station that no one knows so that no one can try and trace the truth.

It’s with much displeasure for a media organization to be represented by such mediocre personnel.Have the standards gone so low?This is a travesty to the journalism fraternity as a whole;unaccept.

Joy FM is owned by some PF sympathisers. It worked very hard campaigning for Sata in the run up to elections and one of the owners was even rewarded with a position in government after elections. So Iam sure we understand the cause for such unprofessional language. What he doesn’t know is he can easily loose business because of such language.

Though am not in politics and do not support any party, any normal thinking manager of any programme especially a Radio station is first supposed to write and later confirm by calling. MMD is a big organisation which deserves some kind of protoccol. the MMD president has an office and secretary I presume which means how can the secretary know the president’s programme without any written document. If he went to attend a function where there was a written communication instead of your Manager would you be supprised. Please grow up Manager do the right thing do just find fault any how.
