Siavonga DC: UPND Must Take Full Responsibilty Of ‘Tongas Under Oath’
I WISH TO ASSURE THE NATION THAT THE SO-CALLED “TONGAS ON OATH” UNDERGROUND GROUP IS NON-EXISTENT IN CHIRUNDU AND SIAVONGA, AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PEOPLE OF THESE AREAS, WHO ARE EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH GOVERNMENT’S DECISION TO RE-ALIGN THE DISTRICTS.
TO THE RESIDENTS OF CHIRUNDU AND SIAVONGA, IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT SUCH A GROUP IS A PRODUCT OF PEOPLE COMING FROM OUTSIDE THE AFFECTED AREAS, WHO ARE CHAMPIONING A CANCEROUS AND DIVISIVE AGENDA.
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE HAVE IN OUR MIDST POLITICIANS WHO ARE BENT ON DIVIDING THE NATION ALONG TRIBAL LINES. IT IS CLEAR THAT THE OPPOSITION UPND HAS BEEN PREACHING DIVISIONS ON SEVERAL MATTERS OF GOVERNANCE INCLUDING THE RE-ALIGNMENT OF DISTRICTS AND IF ANYTHING THEY ARE TO BLAME FOR ACTIVITIES SUCH AS THOSE BEING PROMOTED BY THE SAID SHADOWY GROUP.
THE UPND LEADERSHIP MUST TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY OF THIS EMBARRASSING EPISODE IN OUR COUNTRY’S POLITICAL HISTORY. IT’S NOT A SECRET THAT THAT UPND HAS MADE IT ROUTINE TO CRITICIZE AND ATTACK THIS GOVERNMENT ON TRIBAL OR ETHNIC LINES. THEREFORE, THEY [UPND] OWE THIS UNITARY STATE CALLED ZAMBIA AN APOLOGY.
LASTLY, LET ME STATE THAT THE PEOPLE OF CHIRUNDU AND SIAVONGA ARE FIRMLY UNITED BEHIND THE GOVERNMENT AND THE LEADERSHIP OF PRESIDENT MICHAEL CHILUFYA SATA, AND THEY WILL NOT BE SWAYED BY OUTSIDERS WHO WANT TO BRING CONFUSION IN THE AREA. WE ARE PART OF ONE NATION CALLED ZAMBIA AND WE ARE FULLY AWARE OF THE DANGERS OF DIVISIVE POLITICS. WE ARE MORE INTERESTED IN DEVELOPMENT AND NOTHING ELSE.

While we may ignore this as idle claptrap we can learn a couple of things from it:
1. We need to remain united as a people and coexist as equals
2.We must watchout and report such or similar events and people perperating it
3.While our govt must not react openly it must take internal steps to dig deeper and verify the source of the clandestine message
4. Our House of Chiefs and our Tonga Traditional Council must issue a statement to state that this is not their position as leaders of the Tonga
5. All churches next Sunday must preach on the message of unity and equality
6. You and I must play a great role by roundly condemning the TUO and tell whoever we intreact with that we do not support this evil motive. We may wish to remind people about the sad and historical genocide in Rwanda which started as one silly cockroach joke to a catastrophe that killed almost 1 million people in just 100 days.Africa is still mourning and has not come to terms with that evil event on its soil

Any level headed person would not point a finger at HH. This is from people who want the nation to turn against the Tongas and HH. Whoever is behind this must stop, because God see everything and knows whoever is behind this. This witch is even on side lines watching.
