‘She No Longer Impresses Me In Bed’
A MAN, who pleaded with a local court to dissolve his six-year marriage because his wife no longer impressed him in bed, among other things, was granted divorce last week.
Before senior presiding magistrate Kalunga Chansa and senior court magistrate Kaputo Ngandwe was James Phiri, who sued Martha Phiri for divorce.
He complained that apart from having an extra-marital affair, his wife did not impress him in bed, listen to him and dress appropriately.
He also accused her of terminating his pregnancy.
He said their relatives had tried to reconcile them and resolve their endless differences but had failed. They got married in 2006 and have one child.
But Martha denied ever terminating the pregnancy saying she had a miscarriage after James and his friend clobbered her and removed her front tooth.
She said all was well in their marriage until her husband started spending nights outside his matrimonial home.
She accused James of beating her every time they had a quarrel and also of not providing for his family but added that she still wanted to be his wife.
“Despite the problems I have been facing, I do not want our marriage to end because I still love my husband,” she said.
The court dissolved the marriage because James refused to reconcile and their families had also failed to reconcile them.
James was ordered to compensate Martha with KR15,000 and maintain his child with K250 monthly starting this month- end

What an id!ot of a man, after knocking out her front teeth, he does not feel attracted to her anymore! He should *buy her new teeth* so she can find another man to marry her.

Yes man you did right to divorce her a woman who talks too much and fighting with you is no good.You go home to your wife you bring any subject it ends up into a fight that way she puts you off in bed. So whats the use, you cant have sex with her because you are fighting all the time.All the time she sees you wrong and she is right then it cant work.K15m will fix her tooth in Zed we have gold.

@amai tilikuseli ifyabupuba what have you seen or read that has made you believe that cruel man you are the same pipo who are bringing problems in the country you marry women after getting wat you want from them you start saying she is no longer impressing in bed. That foolish man you are supporting has just found a new prostitute if not many for himself to start making comparisons with his wife, contribute positively infact you may be the friend to that thing called phiri you might even be the one who clobbered the lady and removed her tooth.

The man will regret for rest of his life coz the lady didn’t commit anything wrong. After removing her tooth then u stop being attracted God will answer her cry.

pipo lets not jst tok on 1 side. Dis is a common thing among both men & women. After staying together 4 some time a man or woman run out of ideas of how to please a spouse in bed which is a big problem. Some women run out of affection first & ask da husband to have sex with her wen she wishes. Da problem with mr phiri was lack of wisdom by beating her. There cud be some truth in wat dey are all saying but some women are jst too difficult to live with da best is jst to devorce. Bad 4 da kid.

God made marriage to last for ever but bcoz of man unforgiving nature that is why they divorce now. If they cant forgive each other then let it be so

And a love triangle in Masaiti involving a man and his nephew ended in the death of the latter following a fight.
The 43-year-old man of Chitundu village in Chief Mushili’s area died after a fight with his uncle over a woman.
Ms Tembo confirmed yesterday that Matthews Chibolela was beaten by his uncle Alfred Nyundu, 60, and his nephew George Kapokolo on January 16 this year.
“We are informed that the deceased was drinking beer at Katuba Tavern when his uncle and nephew confronted him over a woman named Charity Chapa, who was having love affairs with both the deceased and his uncle,” she said.
Ms Tembo said fists and a stone are suspected to have been used in hitting Chibolela on the head.
She said Nyundu and Kapokolo have since been arrested to help the police with investigations.
