Official: Mangani Quits MMD, Joins PF
WORKS and Supply Deputy Minister Lameck Mangani has quit the MMD with immediate effect. Speaking in a phone interview with Hot FM Radio a short while ago, Hon Mangani said he has resigned from the MMD to join the Patriotic Front (PF) citing witch hunting from the top supremo. Mangani was also Chipata Central MMD Member of Parliament.

I think this is the end of MMD because this is happening for the first time where most of the big guys are ditching the party just before the elections. Rupiah is surrounded now by Shikapwasha, Kunda and Dora Siliya, its Dora who i think is a force. The end of MMD will be worse than that of UNIP and i see the people blaming Rupia for the down fall.

I Foresee many more defections from the MMD to PF. Wait and see when parliament dissolves NEXT WEEK.
