TAZARA MD Offers Resignation Letter As He Fears ‘Shame’ Of Being ‘Swept Off’

Tanzania Zambia Railways (TAZARA) Managing Director, Akashambatwa Mbikusita Lewanika has offered a resignation letter to republican president Micheal Chilufya Sata.
Akashambatwa said he deccided to offer his resignation letter because it requires political will to run an institution like TAZARA.
BUT, sources have disclosed to tumfweko that Akashambatwa’s resignation offer letter was just one way of avoiding shame if he was to be fired by republican president, Michael Sata.
“Aka knows that the ‘sweeping’ was heading to his institution and hence ‘cleverly’, decided that he relinquishes his position before he is fired. It’s just the shame he is avoiding because he knows that he was still going to be fired, ” the source said to Tumfweko.
The source further wondered on what basis Akashambatwa based his resignation offer when all along failed to resign in the previous Zambian government.
“Aka has double standards, he thinks if he puts forward his resignation letter then he feels he is free aand yet he failed to resign in the MMD government where he was having fraudlent salaries and unnecessary hefty allowancces. We know his dirty tricks, “the source said.
Meanwhile, sources disclosed that President Sata is not expected to accept Akashambatwa’s requested resignation saying he should just wait to be fired and not play a ‘Kalulu’ style of doing things.

Now we get to see who was doing their jobs deligently in the 1st place. If pipo respect the offices they occupy n strive to achieve their mandates, issues of jumping ship even b4 being put in the spotlight shud not arise. If Aka was delivering from the word go, there wud be no need for him 2 break into a sweat after seeing that the new Boma is doing spring cleaning.. Lelo lelo, lelo lelo.

This behavior reminds me of what happened on CB immediately MCS was sworn in.Some company increased salaries of workers.PPE was swiftly bought. It was like the man MCS himself is a tourist attraction.He attracts compliance of the highest level.He exerts the same authourity my father used to exert in absence. We all knew before he knocks off from work that we needed to be clean and at home reading books. Does he kind of reminds you of an old disciplianian also? I think Aka has been my road before.He is just getting clean before the father knocks off from work only this time it is not the father lol..

Tazara has been limping for years and this has nothing to do with AKA or Chipewa or any other MD.
Large sums of capital injection is required to resuscitate this infrastructure.
Just make your next nepotistic appointments because come 2016,we shall reverse these appointments too.
By the way,by accepting his resignation you will end up paying him less than for termination of contract.

Injection of capital will not help TAZARA. We all know what happened to ZCCM.TAZARA functions in a very volatile market i.e the cargo or people transportaion market. The only way it can survive in this market is to invest in identifying networks that can expose it to acessing better markets. Appointing or reappointing any MDS be it in 2016 or now will never be the solution, even injection of capital in a nose diving bussiness will not increase the liquidity of the bussiness. The only solution lies in identifying investment avenues that can again bring TAZARA on the map. TAZARA should not be limited in taking risks like the name itself.It should venture out.This is the 21st century for God’s sake.TAZARA had a communist touch with it. Lets modernise and think economics and not politics.

All MMD cadres must only be swept not resigning after sensing danger. Iwe Aka just wait to be fired because you took all the money from Tazara and gave it to MMD for your foolish campaign and then D’ONT KUBEBA ate all your money and retired all of you.
