19:45Hrs:-Breaking News : TWO THIEVES NABBED At Kitwe’s Hotel EDINBURGH

TWO THIEVES have been nabbed at Kitwe’s Hotel Edinburgh after they attempted to steal from the shops Hotel.
This follows a tip off from Kitwe’s alert ‘Katondo’ call boys who spotted the thieves when they attempted to sneak into the hotel through the ceiling board using the shops corridor which are just under the hotel buiding.
The thieves are believed to have been stealing from the shops for some time now.
And complaints by shop owners of losing items had regulary been forwarded to the hotel management citing poor security facilities at the premises.
Central Police officers were quickly alerted on the situation and came in to help out.
But the police had a tough time to nab the thieves as the thieves were ‘trapped’ in the ceiling board.
It had to take tear gas canisters which was thrown in the ceiling board for the two thieves to drop down and surrender.
The thieves were later arrested and taken to Kitwe central police station.
An assortement of tools used for the same graft was later retrieved.

Adada was on the scene and watched the drama unfold. think I can narrate it better. Edinburg has an arcade which come night time is closed with drop down doors from both ends when the shop owners leave. however in the same corridor there is a ladder leading to the ceiling. It was whilst the guard was closing shutting down one end of the corridor that these guys sneaked into the ceiling. unfortunately or is it fortunately the last one up dropped the bag carrying their tools of distraction. if it hadn’t dropped they would have been locked in the arcade only to come down in the night to break into the shops and hide back in the ceiling and wait for the guard to come and open the arcade in the morning then sneak out. One victim of these chaps was kitwe police reserve who owns the shop down the corridor. He once opened his shop only to find his shop cleaned of all the EXPENSIVE phones. Fortunately he was on the scene to solve the mestry he may have thought was witchcraft or the work of the night guards. thumbs up to the cops for fireing in the air to disperse the crowd. almost felt like we were in Libya

Forgot to mention that whilst one guard tried to give chase in the ceiling, he fell through and came crushing to the ground. had to be rushed to the hospital. the he hasn’t broken any bones. Also hope he will be honored like Dandy Crazy

LEBO LIDA, Pejani has a point. I still have no idea where they stole from. Paragraph one says the shops Hotel. Paragraph two says “when they attempted to sneak into the hotel through the ceiling board using the shops corridor which are just under the hotel buiding.” The ceiling is usually on top, and if the ceiling is on top of the shop’s corridor, then it leads up to the hotel, or to where? If they were in the shop’s corridor, therefore on the same level with the shop, why go up the ceiling? Tafilepanga sense. Tefitala iyo…

I was doing my hair in So-glo when this whole fracas occurred, but left before the thieves were apprehended.

The guard was almost lynched after he fell thru the ceiling board. The katondo guys thought he was the thief.

I like The Equalizer and Pejanis’ observations, while we appreciate Tumwekos efforts they should TRY and construct their grammar properly.

Does anybody understand the use of the word “graft” in the last sentence?

There are many thieves around, some of you are now stealing from your employers as I am writing. It becomes bad when you are caught. You are busy pretending that you are clean and condemning the duo just because they were caught. Your day is coming as well.
