SATA Arrives 30 Minutes LATE To Welcome GEORGE BUSH As Zambia FAILS To ARREST Him

REPUBLICAN President Michael Chilufya Sata friday morning 12/1 came 30 minutes late to recieve and welcome former United States Of America USA President George W. Bush at Kenneth Kaunda Internatinal Airport in Lusaka making the plane carryin George Bush wait on hold for almost 45 minutes.
Bush who is in the company of his wife Laura was recieved by republican President himself Sata, first lady Dr Christine Kaseba-Sata, Cabinet ministers, US ambassador and other government officials.
Amnesty International on Thursday 12/1 continued its campaign urging nations around the world to arrest George W. Bush for allegedly violating international torture laws. This time they specifically targeted Ethiopia, Tanzania and Zambia where the former U.S. president is touring this week.
However, the countries Amnesty asked to arrest George W. Bush have taken the arresting plea by them as just ‘water passing under the bridge’ with all failing to arrest him for reasons unknown.
George W. Bush is in the country for a two-day visit meant to help raise awareness about health issues.
Whilst in Zambia, he is expected to visit George clinic.
And Zambia is among several other sub-Saharan countries that will benefit from US$75 million that has been set aside by the American government to assist in curbing cervical and breast cancers.

i cant believe no one can see that its wrong to arrive late for ANYTHING. yes, if sata went to the states ofcourse bush wouldnt recieve him.hes worth ten times sata, maybe even more. plus hes head of one of the poorest countries in the WORLD. and we wonder why zambia is sooooo undeveloped…it begins with the right attitide such as time keeping. now if the head of state shows up late to a commitment which he agreed to in the first place, theres something to be said about the country he runs. if thats the case then he shouldnt commit to it anyway. Obama didnt arrive late to recieve the chinese president, medvedev was on time to recieve cameron! it called common courtesy. if you have to brown nose someone that has something you want so be it. dont be arrogant about because in the end none of you has anything to show for your arrogance. pwahahahaha

Zambians learn to respect your leaders. Did Bush complain? Afterall, Bush has never touched my conscience, that man killed people, today Obama is having a hard time to correct Bush’s mistakes. By 13th December 2011 there will be no USA troops in Iraq. Whatever his agenda is in Zambia, time will judge, Significant visits are where one person comes to open a medical centre or a big institution. Bush’s visit is mere cosmectic which time will tell judge me and you…..Mark my words..

Iam sure those that are saying there is nothing wrong with the president being late are just saying it for the sake of blogging. If they are serious then we are in fu**ing trouble as a nation. These are basics that we were taught in primary school. And if you are from the old school you would even be canned for being late. The basics are very important to have a bigger picture.

The source of this story is one sided …

If there is one person who is time conscious in Zambia, it is MCS… He respects time … Bush’s plane landed almost 1hr 15 mins late, what was the busy president supposed to do? go wait at the airport? Doesn’t he have other schedules to attend to?

Come on people, be practical …

Guys lets be realistic and give our leader respect.

Diplomatic etiquette does not allow! His just made himself look like he does not kip time, Actually his Chief protocol officer must be fired with immediate effect. Among the many duties of the protocol officer is to make sure that his Excellency is aware of all his programs and must not be late what so ever… it is sad indeed.

its a pit to read useless reactions from some Zambians, ba K2.1 billion, ka George is even luck to be received by our president, otherwise, we could have left that to junior officers. our president is too busy, our country needs him all the time, why should he waste time welcoming some foreigner former president who brought nothing but war and economic melt down, bravo his excellency, infact, the president could have gone there 2 hrs late. kanshi ka Bushi, has he broght us any dollars in our pockets.

you guys need to learn from THE POST, they will teach you how to report, his excellency is late for few seconds and you are busy reporting, you think the President was off duty today, no.

why should we arrest ka Bush, do we even know the charge, chindix yali wama ukushila ponox

  36. Paramount Chief

    December 2, 2011 at 3:07 pm

Its shocking to see so many people supporting the Preshdents going late to the airport. Time keeping is one of the signs that one is modernised or civilised. He should have sent someone else if he felt GB is to small than going there.

  37. White

    December 2, 2011 at 3:09 pm

ba Bushi wali muchalo, has he brought any dollars for our pockets? Sata was biz putting measures that will ensure more money in my pocket, so why should he waste time welcoming presidents who brought the economic melt down that left millions jobless. infact he (Bushi) was luck, otherwise he was supposed to be welcomed by any Councillor who was off duty.

we salute you sata for making bush wait for you.Bush should be taught how to be patient. Just because is a muzungu we have to rush and leave other important things like morning prayers. Zambians grow up and stop making unnecessary comments on the head of state. One thing you should learn is that you voted for him and learn to respect him pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee.Empty boxes makes alot of noise thats why we cant develop. If you think rb will come back forget bane we are in serious business now.

    December 2, 2011 at 3:15 pm

ba Paramount Chief or whatever your name is, dont think being a president is like being sales agent or a teacher at a basic school, it takes a lot, Bushi can wait, after all we dont need him much, he could have come the time we needed him, when he was president. Sata was busy attending to more important issues than meeting some chap from the west. anyway, he could have booked a cab if he was too much in a hurry, after all Lusaka is small a city for him. One thing i can assure you is there are a lot of issues president sort out was we are busy chatting out there, have you ever watched 24? it will give you a rough idea of the presidents schedule. so what is 30 minutes.

  42. Mwenya capetown

    December 2, 2011 at 3:17 pm

So what if he waits for our president? Its no big deal.Do you know how long African heads of state often have to wait to see presidents in western countries? Its only that unlike our journalists, who are always reporting negative things about their leaders, their journalists focus on the positives.
Stop this halabaloo panther ni ba George mumpanga, shetani, murderer. This man is the devil in person.

ZAMBIAN PEOPLE THE FACT IS GWB’S PLANE WAS LATE TO ARRIVE AND HEMCS THEREFORE COULD NOT ABANDON ALL THE WORK HE HAS TO DO FOR US AND GO AND CAMP AT THE AIRPORT. WHAT HAPPENED WAS GOOD ENOUGH UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCE. ON AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL THEY SHOULD ARREST HIM THEMSELVES AS THEY ARE REPRESENTED IN EACH COUNTRY EVEN IN ZAMBIA. BA TUMFWEKO LEARN TO COVER STORIES OBJECTIVELY, YOU COULD HAVE SENT A PRESS QUERY TO STATE HOUSE SO THAT YOU HAVE A ABALANCED STORY.

Being busy! What a load of rubbish. Time keeping is a virtue. Of course most zambians do not know that. Being late and giving excuses of having been delayed by other issues is the order of the day by Zambians.

Thats why we are even late to find any meaningful developement!

  46. Loverchibs

    December 2, 2011 at 4:05 pm

Yes going late for any function is not in order for any category of human beings, but it happened, we should no why it happened instead of being disrepectiful to elderly people especially the head of the nation.

Tumfweko.com you are slowly becoming unfamous due to your unprofessional reporting ways. You need to be selective with reportable items on your site. I don’t see the point in trying to make this an issue.
@ Geek point on. If Bush or Laura never complained, why should we give a F@#$!K what anyone has to say!!!
