CLINTON Says RELIGIOUS Beliefs Are NO EXCUSE For Discrimination Against HOMOSEXUALS “USA Will USE Foreign Aid To Promote GAY RIGHTS”
The US has announced it will use foreign aid to promote the rights of LGBT communities abroad by combating attempts by foreign governments to criminalise homosexuality and making treatment of gays a factor in awarding foreign aid.
US President Barack Obama yesterday Tuesday 12/6 issued a memorandum directing the heads of executive departments and agencies abroad to combat the criminalisation of homosexuality, protect vulnerable LGBT refugees and asylum seekers, enhance foreign aid to countries with respect to promoting LGBT rights, respond quickly to abuses of LGBT citizens abroad, and engage international organisations in the fight against LGBT discrimination.
“The struggle to end discrimination against lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) persons is a global challenge, and one that is central to the United States commitment to promoting human rights,” Obama wrote in the memo.
“I am deeply concerned by the violence and discrimination targeting LGBT persons around the world – whether it is passing laws that criminalize LGBT status, beating citizens simply for joining peaceful LGBT pride celebrations, or killing men, women, and children for their perceived sexual orientation.”
The memo was written in the lead-up to International Human Rights Day and was released shortly before Secretary of State Hillary Clinton delivered a human rights policy speech hosted by the US Mission to the United Nations in Geneva.
Clinton used the address to challenge nations around the world to call the rights of LGBT people “universal” and criticised nations that criminalise gay behaviour or tolerate abuse.
It was highlighted by international news agencies as an unusually strong speech to the UN Human Rights Council in front of an audience of diplomats from Arab, African and other countries with poor records on gay rights.

“No practice or tradition trumps the human rights that belong to all of us, and this holds true for inflicting violence on LGBT people,” she said.
“It is a violation of human rights when people are beaten or killed because of their sexual orientation, or because they do not conform to cultural norms about how men and women should look or behave.”
Clinton admitted that the US’s own record on LGBT equality was “far from perfect” and rejected the notion that homosexuality was a Western phenomenon and therefore people from outside the West have grounds to reject it.
“Gay people are born into – and belong to – every society in the world. They are all ages, all races, all faiths. They are doctors, and teachers, farmers and bankers, soldiers and athletes,” she said.
“Being gay is not a Western invention. It is a human reality.”
International Human Rights Day is on Saturday and commemorates the 1948 signing of the UN Declaration of Human Rights.

The West always complains about Chinese undervaluing their currency,censorship of the media & internet,lack of free speech & democraticy etc but that doesnt stop the West from trading with Ching Chong,!!! The bible is clear, Romans 1:27 states, “In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men.” And in 1Corinthians 6:9-10 the bible says that homosexual offenders will not step their feet in God’s kingdom. Let us not make these homosexuals comfortable. They are living in sin and as long as they don’t repent they are going straight to hell.
As for Americans who what to tie their aid to this nonsense, Zambians must be like those three Hebrew guys, Shadrack, Meshach and Abednego who told off the king, “O king, we will not bow down to your gods. Please let us pray for our nation. Munalian, what William is quoting is from the Word of God and not his own concoction. The Bibles does tell us to love one another and what Christians are doing by rejecting this kind of lifestyle is loving one another. You can not love a person by leading them to hell but out of it by turning them to the truth of God. We can not be ready to sell our birth right just for some temporary satisfaction! Getting that foreign aid is just as good as what Esau did just to satisfy his hunger at that particular moment without even thinking of the consequences. Please Christians, let us pray for Africa and not allow the devil’s will to prevail. 2) all we can do is interpret/read the Bible as it was written circa 2000 yrs ago!! Lest you forget,the Bible was written by men,they merely interpreted what they saw and heard!! And I said,the Bible borrowed heavily from pagan customs of Judea (origin of Christianity),ancient Egypt,Greece & Rome!! As an example,the philosophies of “being humble, loving neighbours as one loves himself…” pre-date Jesus!!rituals like Christmas trees were borrowed from a Roman ritual of having a tree to symbolise the continuation of plant life in the middle of winter…reason Christmas is today held when it’s winter in northern hemisphere!!!equally,Easter celebration of “death & resumption” coincide with another Roman ritual of celebrating the “death & resumption” of plants in spring!! So please don’t think everything you read in the Bible is sacrosanct!!! Off tangent,the Bible & Koran have many similarities because the former inspired the latter!!
3)a true democracy has a clear separation between the STATE and RELIGION!!! The US,france,Germany, etc have constitutions that prohibit the promotion of any RELIGION! 1) the Bible was written by desert nomads at a time when illiteracy was lower than 0.00000001% of the population!!! And once again,they borrowed heavily from other philosophies!! My point is our pre-colonialism ancestors had a system of belief of their own,one which told them to be kind to their spouses,neighours etc…in other words,the moral values in the Bible aren’t unique to Christians but universal!!!
2)using Christianity to defend your argument is intrinsically false because that same Christianity was exported to Africa by the British & co!! It is however reasonable to say that homosexuality “isn’t African” though I guess there might have been homosexuals (however few) in Africa pre-colonialism but can’t say for sure coz I’ve no records
3) homosexuality wasn’t invented in US or Europe,it was prevalent in ancient Egypt,Incas of Latin AAmerica,India etc!!! As a matter of fact he the British banned it in India in 1857,back then they enforced a “puritan” Christianity,just as majority of Zambians are doing now!!

things change, places change and people change too. if people had stopped making confessions to their fellow human beings and started making confessions direct to the Almighty, then there will be a time when people will realize and respect one’s feelings as longer as they don’t interfere with their peace. therefore, we know what is right and wrong but we don’t need to be puppets for the sake of donor fundings and if we don’t agree with them then our country is isolated and goes zim way. this issue goes back to nepad which was spearheaded by the gallant men & women of africa like mbeki and Senegalese president. the draft was perfect for african countries but there was no commitment from african states to contribute cash. but those draft by foreigners (donors) they don’t meet the aspiration of the people of africa especially those in rural areas. these donors do make commitment in contributing cash to africa. this cash in many cases goes is diverted and relocated to unfruitful projects that benefit handful people. we know what we want and they know what they do.

Munalian, God breathed or inspired His word onto us (2 Tim 3:16-17) and the writers were writing God’s word as was revealed to them by the Holy Spirit (2 Pet 1:20-21), so no education was involved in the Scriptures (besides our intelligency is foolishness to God, however educated we may feel). One example of God punishing homosexuality is in the account of Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19) and so homosexuality is sin to God. The wages of sin is death. He is the God of the living and not the dead. God does not change and He watches over His word to perform it. So homos if not saved will not inherit the kingdom of God. Please study Gods word and seek His face it will be more clearer to you Munalian. Are you saved?

In case you’ve no knowledge about the history of Christianity,let me tell you some facts:
1) Christianity originated in the Roman province of Judea,modern day Palestine/Israel. Being a new religion;it was originally considered a sect,something to avoid -just as some people dismiss Scientology- but Christianity grew and “moved to the West”!
2) Why did it “move to the West”? Because it wanted to gain the Roman Emperor’s favours! To gain emperor’s favour meant the ability to pray freely in throughout the empire,to give you an analogy,today’s artists say “i want to break america!” they say that knowing that whoever becomes big in US/Hollywood will automatically become big around the world due to America’s cultural influence around the world!!!
3) Being a monotheistic religion (ie 1 “god”),it was persecuted by the polytheistic (ie many “gods”) Roman society, that persecution did not end until 330AD when Emperor Constatine decreed “One Empire,One Religion -Christianity!” That’s why Rome is still the seat of the Catholic Church
4)When the Roman Empire collapsed,its legacy was Christianity spreading throught Western Europe and going overseas since the 1500s when Europeans took the high sea! It finally arrived in Ze (as in the rest of Africa) in the mid 19th century!!!!
On a philosophical point of view,Christianity borrowed big time from other (older) schools of thoughts,mainly from Ancient Greece and the Orient! Furthermore, the Torah (Jewish “Instruction Book”), written around 400BC was another source of inspiration for the writers of the Bible!! You may find this hard to stomach but the contents of the Bible weren’t brand new when they were written!! Another thing,the Torah (written circa 400BC) inspired the Bible which itself inspired the Koran (written circa 620AD);hence the reason why Judaism,Christianity & Islam are intrinsically very similar and refered as “Abrahamic religions!”
Besides, tenets like “love others as you love yourself” are not unique to Christians but universal!! For example, Japanese are NOT Christians but they don’t behave like wild animals, they treat each other with care & compassion!!!
In any case, if you bemoan Homos then pray for them but NOT deny them their right just like Christians were denied theirs from 30AD till 330AD!!! If your faith is so strong then it should be tolerant of those who havent seen it;

Whoever has not the Spirit of God cannot understand the things of the spirit. Intellectual argument may sound logical, but that does not make it acceptable. Homosexuality is an abomination to Go, full stop. Whether you agree or disagree, you won’t change the fact that homosexuality is abominable and should never be legalized or supported. The fact that some peopl are born with the strong urge and tendency to steal, a tendency so strong in them they can do nothing to resist, does not make stealing right. Other people have uncontrollable urge to sleep with other peole’s wives. Even if this urge is uncontrollable to them, it does not justify what they do. The fact that one feels the uncontrollable urge to do wrong things (like homosexuals do) does not justify or make right what they do. It is still a wrong, and no wonder God abhors it. Homosexuals, like any other sinner, can come to Jesus, and He will change them. Only Jesus can change somebody.

If Mrs. Clinton is a christian, she would not be carrying this message from her President. May I ask the US and British Governments to respect our beliefs as these form part of our human rights. Let them keep their money. Actually let them look around in their very countries and make sure that all their citizens are not lacking anything before they even think of helping others. I say so because right in those very developed countries, there are people who are struggling just to survive. Let us thank them for what they have done this far and say no more. Let them leave us alone. If we are going to die, all is well because death is there for both the developed and the not-developed. As christians our duty is to show love, to show the truth to those we perceive to be lost and pray that the Holy Ghost does its work. Let us pray for the lost and ask God to continue guiding us in whatever we are doing. Someone tell me if Africa was created to receive non-ending AID from the so-called developed world? If not, someone tell them that we were created in the image of God and God will help us survive. After all, think of our brothers who live in the villages, you know, some remote villages where there are no roads, hospitals, etc but they are alive (apparently none of this strings-attached AID even reaches them). How come they are not dead? America thank you but keep your money. And all of you who run to America/Britain for school, for work, always talking the dollar/pound language, its time my friends to stop this and begin to appreciate what we have here in Africa. You are the ones who are making these people to start believing that they were created to take care Africa.

No nation is a slave to another in the present No global dispensation.

We in America abhor Clinton and Obama and their policies on sodomy. They are denying the people the right to say NO to sodomy to shut the conversation down just like they did with abortion. Americans are trying to fight this and keep it out of Amer. Even California, when the people voted on gay marriage said NO! We the people will not accept this evil! It’s not a human right but sin -which is all over the world.
