CHIPOLOPOLO Jet In Equatorial Guinea
The Chipolopolo boys have arrived in Equatorial Guinea ahead of the Africa Cup which kicks off on Saturday.
Zambia arrived in Malabo at midday Wednesday 1/17 and connected to Bata by road where they will play their group games.
The Chipolopolo had camped in South Africa for a month as part of their preparations for Africa’s biggest football showpiece.
Herve Renard’s men open their account with a date against one of the tournament favourites Senegal.
Zambia is in Group A alongside Libya, co-hosts Equatorial Guinea and Senegal.

The fact that teams like Egypt and Nigeria are not present does not mean that there is no opposition. There is no such a thing as “weak team”. So if Zambia goes there thinking they are the “big guns”, they will come back before the quarter finals. They must respect the teams that eliminated Egypt and Nigeria. GO CHIPOLOPOLO GO!

we may not be favorites at afcon but i have the comfidence that we are going to prove to the world that we are still the force to recon with. i believe in you and what ever the results am a true zambian and ever behind you boys. what ever the results we are zambians and what ever you ssy about our team just shows that the result is part of you and you are a failure because you only know how to critisise and offer no solutions. lets all rise and put our great nation where it we know we belong and that is on top of african soocer. one zambia one nation one chipolopolo

@Madalitso jst accept the reality. We are going to the AFCON as underdogs as usual. Zambia is still a small team. Mind you this is not COSAFA or CECAFA.

Bet me guys our Zambia is only going to participate and not win anything. Stop living in ur past glory. The team lacks someone to give them the spirit to play. We are proud Zedians but the fact still remains that we are going as underdogs.
