RENARD Blames FAZ For POOR Accommodation Arrangements At AFCON

Herve Renard has blamed FAZ for poor organization that led to the team being accommodated in a second grade hotel.

Zambia booked out of the Carmen Hotel on Thursday saying it fell short of Africa Cup standards.
Renard told France’s RMC radio that there were people in FAZ who did not do their jobs.

“There are people in our federation who didn’t do their jobs,” Renard said.
Zambia’s team had to switch hotels just two days before their opening game at the African Cup of Nations after coach Herve Renard complained the original accommodations were unworthy of a major tournament.

“The first hotel we got was not of the standing of the Africa Cup of Nations—I think people have to have respect for the Zambian national team,” Renard said. “It’s not our first qualification. … Maybe we are not the best, maybe we are not a team with a big name but we deserve respect.”
Zambia plays highly rated Senegal in Group A on the opening day of matches on Saturday.

FAZ need to be toppled this year. Fool like Kalusha put their personal interests above that of the nation. Where are these people taking the money. We don’t want accomodation to be a scapegoat for poor performance at the tournament. Give our beloved team proper accomodation u suckers!!!

The first thing we should ask ourselves is how much were those guyz(Zambia National Team) given for accommodation.

Thats what i like about Renard. He speaks his mind with no fear. Trully fighting for the nations dignity.

For those saying Zambia is wasting taxpayers money, please be glad to learn that its not GRZ paying for the team. Its funding ceased immediately they lèft S.A if not Zambia. Its CAF and the Host Nations.

I don’t see anything wrong in HR’s statement, to you haters , you think our men are worthless to be accomodated substandard Hotel, that is a team of ambassadors who deserve the best, let them know we exist big time, The blame should be rendered on the Organisers, the Hosting Nation and lastly Faz. Faz was supose to send some people to go nd put everthng in older before the team went their. The government should ask the hosting nation to provide extra security to our men, that Country killed our Men. However wishing the Chipolopolo boysall the best, lets go Zambia lets go, Zambia ekafye the rest Nibangwele

How do you expect people to perform like this? Even if we brought in JOSE MORINHO as long as The confusion in FAZ doesn’t end, NO GOOD RESULTS WILL BE ATTAINED ! BELIEVE YOU ME! well since the lads are there already they just have to do what they can!

imwe ma illiterates full of verbal diarrhoea…havnt u heard of a thing called motivation???do you think they can play as well if they are staying in a dump of a hotel feeling less superior to the other teams as compared to when theyre being treated like kings…let faz make the necesary sacrifices if they want to receive good results…
