Kalusha Bwalya says he is not threatened by Emmanuel Munaile’s challenge for the FAZ presidency. Kalusha, who is re-contesting his position , told journalists in Choma minutes before addressing a closed door meeting that his record speak for itself.
The meeting that took place at Choma Hotel at 15 hours appeared to be tapping into the trophy tour run that is currently going on.
Kalusha was in the company of Boniface Mwamelo, Marcha Chilemena among others.
“I am not threatened by the challenge because this is a democracy, it’s up to the people of Zambia to decide. My record speaks 4 itself,” he said.
Munaile, who is vying for the FAZ top post at the March 31 FAZ elections, was elected vice-president in 2008 when Kalusha took over leadership but quit in October 2010 citing lack of transparency and accountability in the administration of the game.

I like Kalus confidence..I just wonder what has gotten into munaile coz most people are for Kalu( no need to be albert enstein to figure that one out) especially with him bringing H.Renard and Zambia clinching the AFCON 2012 trophy

Kalusha Bwalya is not to be trusted, when it comes to the afcon, he did not do anything magical to bring the afcon, He did not even kick the ball or coach the team so what has he got to do with the afcon. our local league is not being improved so were is he taking the money.

Pantu mwatemwa uku kondema. Some of you will never contribute anything to Zambia. Kalu has been of great service to this country but all we know how to do is insult. this mentality is really unchristian. Give credit where it is due. Kalu is a human being, unless you expect him to be like Jesus. Where he goes wrong, correct him with love, not as if you want to embarrass him. Zambia is a Democracy. Munaile is free to stand and may the best man win…

Munaile is a coward, first of all he discovered that there was no transparency in the running of football, and then decided to leave, he could have waited and resolve these issues, why resign, Cowardis

Mr. Munaile supported Kalu and said all the good things about him. But later ran away from football administration. So what is it that he wants to offer now that he failed to that time? I feel he is just going to waste his money. Anyway, its worth trying sometimes. There are no under dogs in football.

Munaile first explain about the malole seat that you robbed from the rightful winner. what do you have to tell us that you failed to tell the electorate when you were dubiously pronounced winner even when you knew that you had lost! what kind of leadership are you promising us with such a dirt background? where have you been all this time only to resurface now because things are moving in the right direction? Kalu you have already won, history has been made and that will make you pull through unlike that opportunist of a kawalala. mwaona things happening thats when you want to pretend to be a leader? hahahahahahahahahahehehehehehehe!

HERE’S THE TRUTH:
FACT: MUGABE IS NOT GOOD FOR ZIMBABWE, BUT TO REPLACE HIM WITH TSVANGIRAI IS TO LOWER THE BAR, SIMILARLY,
KALUSHA IS NOT GOOD FOR ZAMBIAN SOCCER, BUT THE ALTERNATIVE OF MUNAILE IS CERTAINLY LOWERING IT TOO LOW!!

The Nigerians say, HE WHO SWALLOWS THE ODALA SEED MUST CONSIDER THE SIZE OF HIS ANUS! This is an old adage and its loaded with wisdom. As councillors at this year’s AGM, lets go there focused and choose someone who is going to take our GAME to greater heights. We should not allow frustrated bootlickers to continue messing our game of football in this country, educated or not, lets analyse the those aspiring for high office ayt football house. We should not be fooled by the fact that we won the Afcon cup, so this candidate is better than the other, lets look at the track record of football administration in this country, if we say its okay then decide likewise, otherwise at the rate we are going, its total BULLSHIT, to say but the least.

Munaile you failed to take the road to Makasa where you come frm when you where an MP not even a single development to Nseluka even Malole, all you did was to stop visiting your constituency and became FAZ vice president. After you had seen some problems in FAZ you decided to step down.So just continue resting dear or first go back to Malole and stand as MP then develop your consituency thats when we can come and stand as president pa FAZ otherwise you are a failure mwaiche. God gave us the 2012 AFCON cup and not benefits from Kalus sweat as an executive of FAZ. Look at the preps before the tourney, how many games did we play and what was our performance in those games? What were the players’ bonuses during preps and for each game at the tourney? TELL US PLEASE??? The players just held the bull by its horns themselves ‘maybe to honour the fallen heroes who died in Gabon where coincidentally the final was to be played. If anything we must thank the players for their performance as they played with one spirit, focussed and perserverance. Please councillors go to Kitwe with the heart of revamping football in rural zambia. We need to cast our net wider than whats obtaining at FAZ currently.

fellow zambians let us learn to contribute reasonably when it comes to such issues.
my appeal to soccer administrators ,choose people who can administer soccer in zambia and take it to higher heights.
we need transparence in the manner in which faz runs the affairs of football.
choose honest persons and not international exposure with dirty, selfish and bloody stained elements.
football is not a one man show ,but a collective thing.

I care less who is elected FAZ P. I am however a very worried Sports Administrator that from what I have read so far, no one seems to quote from the FAZ constitution to support the candidature of the people wanting to stand. I wonder whether we even know it as we comment. Any way the biggest problem as a nation that we have is that we always forget to follow the set regulations, principles or rules and instead reason with our “emotions”. We are infact to blame for the many failures of our leaders because at a time when we were to correct their wrongs we kept hero-woshiping them out of emotions and got so clouded that we failed to see their wrongs. The fact that Zambia won the AFCON Trophy has not cured FAZ of its administrative problems. We more than ever now require to be more transparent at FAZ but it is not the case. Take a leaf FAZ from SATA who exposed us to the Barotse Agreement and now very few people can claim that it is about separating Zambia. In the same spirit tell us what the MTN deal is all about since you are answerable to us the clubs and not what Mwanza is doing wanting FAZ to be superior. Tell as the many expenditures like FIFA grants, match appearance fee and the lot other deals. Your reluctance to do so really leaves us with no chioce but to suspect you of stealing and abusing your offices. By the way the AGM is just not about elections so do prepare to explain to us all these pending issues. Do not be emotional, but be good administartors with nothing to hide at FAZ. Remember, you can run but not hide cause time will tell.
Mukupa
March 9, 2012 at 1:43 pm
I totally agree with Tonga bull. As Zambians we have problems because we easily forget. The AFCON trophy has nothing to do with Kalusha’s administration.
We are now going back to the same mistake we made when he was elected FAZ president. Although some of us have been out of the country for a long time, we still recall the Mbola saga.
Kalusha is very selfish and as long as he remained at the hem of FAZ Zambian football will never improve. The league standard will always be at its lowest.
The man will ever be in South Africa and only resurface when there is money. people should be serious for once when it comes to elections.

Ba Mukupa, unfortunately your statement overlooks the fact that had we not won theAfcon cup, you would have justified your statemtents against Kalu. Kalu had a very big role to play in Zambia’s win just like all those that have helped build this formidable side. You’ll appreciate that those that accuse him of maladmnistration and theft, only have unsubstantiated evidence, thus the reason why none of you has petitioned the law enforcers to probe the scandals you claim. Of course not everyone will love you, especilly when you’ve achieved what they might not do! Kalusha falls in the category of rare gems that are only seen once in a while. Please let’s give credit where it due and praise those that deserve praise, rather than have our mouths spewing with jealous and envy. Some people sre born with it, whilst some of you should just be comfortable being
spectators!
