Head Teacher Nabbed For Defiling 12-Yr-Old Pupil
Police in Isoka district have arrested a head teacher for allegedly defiling a 12-year-old pupil at his learning institution.
Muchinga Province Police Commissioner Standwell Lungu has confirmed the development in an interview with the Zambia News and Information Services -ZANIS- in Chinsali on Tuesday.
Mr. Lungu says the named head teacher is being held at Isoka police station and would appear in court soon.
Meanwhile, Society Against Women and AIDS in Zambia -Swaaz coordinator for Northern and Muchinga Provinces Maggie Siame is disturbed by rising cases of defilements in the region.
Ms Siame has disclosed that three girls have been defiled in Isoka district this month alone.
She is worried that young girls are being sexually abused by people who are supposed to safeguard their welfare.
Meanwhile, Ms SIAME says her organisation in Isoka is keeping an 11-year-old girl of Kitwe who was found walking on the Great North road enroute to Kitwe from Nakonde.
Rabeca Musombwe was picked by a Tanzanian truck driver who found her walking alone along the Great North Road and took her to the police station.
Ms. Siame says Rebecca has complained that she was being physically abused by her aunt in Nakonde and wanted to go back to her family in Kitwe.
Rabecca identifies her father as Billet Musombwe of Luangwa compound in Kitwe.

The insults will never help solve this issue, as long as the government does not put measures to stiff punishing these lawlessness citizens this trend will never finish. We honestly appeal to our government to please enter-vain in this matter as soon as possible cos the morals in this country is so shameful how could a Head-teacher the one supposed to supervise teachers break the law na ku gwila muzukulu wake. They should be punished by first beat them in public before putting them behind bars for life.

These bemba and tonga chaps are locked in a tribal fight. Why not just kill each other so this can come to an end? @ Mr Wise – I assume you mean how do we end murder?? However, if you are asking me how we should end infidelity by women, then my answer uis this: if the man felt he could not cope with his wife cheating, then he should have sought a divorce!!! if women killed all cheating husbands in Zambia, then the number of alive men in Zambia would probably decline to around 1 million – even HEMCS would not survive this CULL of zambian men!!!
So the man needs to be arrested and charged for murder – period!!!

@Janet c, my question was , How best can we end infidelity ? Now, am relatively bias to women’s infidelity not because am a man no,but i somehow feel that the resultants of infidelity caused by a woman are very unfair and mostly fatal compared to that of men.I agree i have never been a lady and u have never been a man , but believe mean u that to what ever extent of pain caused by cheating, ladies easily forgive not men…lets hope u agree with me ? SO,how can we end cheating…ie if we understand what causes infidelity first.

@ Mr Wise – women’s infidelity has only just began in zambia – we never used to hear of it before. Therefore, as men you need to accept that women in zambia now cheat because we are fed up of men cheating on us. If men find their wives cheating, they also have the option of divorcing them – why not divorce instead of resorting to murder – the result of which is life imprisonment.
On infidelity, it will never end – it always has and always will exist. That is why divorce is the best option. It is a fantasy to say it is better for a man to cheat than a woman – cheating is cheating and it does not matter whether it’s a woman or man that cheats. Times have changed – so better we recognise this reality because this is just the beginning and women cheating is only set to increase.

men and women of Zambia I think this nonsense should be dealt with seriously because the rate at which these cowards of men are defiling children is just too high. this issue of herbs and failing to tell our women how we want to have our chitechi is really causing great harm to our society. it is hard time we went beyond partisan politics and seriously find a lasting solution to this otherwise we have got ourselves to blame. furthermore no one will sort out this mess for us. why go into a minor when there are so many women who are readily available for sex? mr Wise – theoretically infidelity IS BAD. The REALITY is IT WILL NEVER END no matter how many prayer and fasting sessions we have! I mean how are you going to stop it in the first place – will you resort to policing all lodges and single women/men’s homes every night!! Therefore, we need to deal with the reality.
