Pastor Chris Speaks Back, Insists Masturb*tion Is Not A Sin(VIDEO)
In a television broadcast earlier of Pastor Chris Live, a viewer from Ghana sent in a question asking how one can overcome masturb*tion.Pastor Chris likens masturb*tion to playing football. It’s a habit, he says, and if you want to stop it, replace it with another habit. And the statement attracted a lot criticism from fellow Christians and other renowned preachers. In another TV Broadcast Pastor Chris insists masturb*tion is not a sin and explains why, see video below:-

During the 1st debate on this, a lot of bloggers contended it was a sin for 2 reasons: 1- spilling of semen; 2-when mastabetin you think about a woman/man. Therefore where is the sin in a woman who mastabets but does not spil? Where is the sin in a husband/wife who mastabets while thinking about a spouse who is away?

The problem is pastors are under pressure to come up with something new to impress the flock. This message is totally wrong. Does he mean the sin is in the hands. Who says you need to only think of a woman to masterbate. Just by playing with yourself is enough and where is the sin if you think about your wife as you do it. You refer to the spilling of semen, then how about those using condoms and those that spill to avoid impregnating their wives. Do not do it if you struggle with it consciously but save us the time listening to your mis-interpretation of scripture. The pastor is just trying to guide us. Take it or leave it based on your level of faith.

Can someone quote a verse from the Bible which states that mastabetion is a sin? And as you refer to the verse which talks about spilling pls bear in mind that teenager who has a wet dream, and the woman who spills no semen. As you refer to the verse which talks about looking at a woman lustfully and possessing her, consider the man who is mastabeting bcoz is wife is away and is thinking about her as he does it. And consider a woman whose husband is impotent who would rather mastabet than commit adultery. Remember, by urging men and women to marry so as not to burn with passion, surely Paul was not urging couples to go procreate but give each other pleasure. I can say more but I’ll end here.

Just because the Bible did not talk about masturbation didn’t infer that its the right thing, just as drug addiction, bleaching, change of sex, astral traveling and lots of other sins that our conscience would constantly judge us if we are doing the right thing. Our body is the temple of God, as such we cant do to it as we please.
We are all sinners including Pastors,when we make mistakes especially with spoken words we should not take the advantage of our familiarity with God to continue to justify heresy, we should be able to come out and say ‘brethren,forgive me and ignore what i said, it was a mistake my Bible was upside down…’ Simple!

Masturbation is not mentioned in the Bible but it can be classed under the things the Bible calls uncleanness or impurity.Galatians 5:19 says, “The actions that are produced by selfish motives are obvious, since they include sexual immorality, moral corruption, doing whatever feels good,…”. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit who lives in us, if we are Christians, so we cannot be degrading the temple by masturbating. I began to masturbate after feasting on a magazine for lesbians. I was trapped in the habit for more than five years until through prayer and renunciation the Lord set me free. Masturbation is actually demonic because it is difficult to break by yourself. It brings guilt, shame and a disturbed conscience before the Lord. It also drains anointing and spiritual power.
