Zambia great Kalusha Bwalya finally lifted a African Cup of Nations trophy for his tragic teammates Sunday, 19 years after they were killed in a plane crash.
Bwalya, the former national captain and now federation president, raised the cup at Libreville’s Stade de l’Amitie, just kilometres (miles) from where 18 members of the country’s 1993 team lost their lives.
Bwalya incredibly inspired Zambia’s 1994 squad to the African Cup final, but lost to Nigeria. Now Zambia finally won, in its third final, to give Bwalya the chance to honour his fallen compatriots and friends.
He poignantly held the trophy up with his right hand to salute them after the 2012 Zambians rode a wave of emotion on their return to the city to beat Ivory Coast 8-7 on penalties.

History has been written:
The first ever Africa Cup of Nations was lifted while FAZ was presided over by the Great Kalu, coach was Herve Renard. The splinter fimofimo FAZ will never erase this history. Kamanga, Simataa, bola panshi bane.

Ati Andrew Kamanga National league ukuooooo..kikikiki if politicians were working like the football boys i think Zambia would have been very far…..no tribalism but whoever is good is brought in the government what a beautiful country this would have been….Leaders learn from the boys in the team nothing to do with tribe but all team work…this is also a lesson to us bloggers lets learn to accommodate one another….Tonga, bemba, chewe ,lala lozi all tribes lets work as one.

Why did HH refuse to go to Gabon after being invited to go by the President – RB, KK all went on tax payers money – THERE IS NOTHING WRONG OUT THERE THEY ARE REPRESENTING ZAMBIA.
If what we heard is true; those of you who are near to HH go an tell him that the boys were representing us all and not PF.
LET HIM KNOW THAT National issues go beyond the party politics. WE WOULD HAVE LOVED TO SEE HIM ON TELE IN GABON ALSO
We are going to write him off if he does not change.

This was all player effort and had nothing to do with FAZ. I mean, with all the masalamusi that weas oozing out of their and today someone has the guts of saying Mr Kalusha Bwalya, the cause of all these woes, deserves praise! Surely sometimes some Zambians can have such stinking malignant tumours in their reasoning.

Thinking outside the box, Kamanga’s and Simaata presssure could have helped/forced Kalusha and his executive to be on his toes. CONFLICT and CONFROTATION are a MEANS to a MORE EFFECTIVE ORGANISATION Source: Brown, D R and Harvey D (2006:101) An Experiential Approach to Organisational Development. Pearson Prentice Hall, New Jersey. Just like a ruling party without a NOISY opposition goes to sleep so does the management in organisation in which there is group think

Many thanks to the Republican president for his Forgiving, compassionate, and unwavering LOVE for all Zambians. when a lot of thugs are bussy sizing each other, he has shown that Politics is one thing and Uniting the nation is another thing. BRAVO Mr. M.C Sata. A m sure HH has learn’t something from this great son of Zambia. when the righteous are in control people rejoice but when the wicked are ruling there is confusion everywhere. May the good Lord Bless and Prosper our Nation Zambia. United we stand and Divided we fall.Thanx Kalu, Wrenar and above all the boys for bringing GLORY TO MOTHER ZAMBIA. this is how things should be1
