Kitwe District Commissioner Binwell Mpundu has been transfered to Northern Province in Kaputa District in the same capacity.
Observers tell Tumfweko that Mpundu has been demoted administratively after a recording emerged of him organising a rebellion against Members of Parliament in Kitwe in run up to the 2021 general elections.
But information has emerged that Mpundu has protested his demotion and is ready to resign of the President doesnt rescind his decision to transfer him from Kitwe to Kaputa.
The Office of the President adminstration at both the district and Provincial level recmmended his demotion.
