Health Workers to Learn Sign Language

Ministry of health is embarking on an aggressive programme to train health workers in sign language, to ensure that no one is left behind in the dissemination of nutrition messages.

Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary For Technical Services Kennedy Malama has since directed, the director public health Andrew Silumesi to put in place measures.

Dr. Malama was speaking during the launch of the National Food and Nutrition Sector Strategic Plan and the national community health strategy.
